We chose this hotel because of the location, we were really in the historical center of Istanbul and all interesting places were within walking distance. We arrived in Istanbul by car and used the nearby parking at the station, from which the way to the hotel took only 5 minutes. We were welcomed at the hotel by a very nice receptionists, they explained everything to us, offered us drinks and were very welcoming. We had a room on a higher floor with a wonderful view of the historic buildings. The room was spacious and looked new. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the cleaning as we found a hair band under the bed from previous guests and there were black hairs and dust in several places. In the shower, the shampoo stand broke off and no one fixed it. It's a shame, because otherwise the hotel is really very nice. The room also had a coffee maker and a minibar. Breakfast was served in the restaurant Huqqabaz that belonged to the hotel. The breakfast was average, but the service was nice. However, despite everything, we have to highlight the willingness and help of the reception staff, who refunded us the money for the unused night, since we had to leave the hotel one night earlier than we had a reservation and they didn't have to do it at all. So their willingness was really exceptional and we really appreciate it. More on @larmarluxury.

I absolutely enjoyed my experience at the hotel. First of all, its location is great because it is very close to the waterfront and the Galata Bridge, which connects two parts of Istanbul. Plus, there are many restaurants, shops, markets, and other businesses around the hotel. The area is very lively! But at the same time, the hotel is pretty quiet and definitely well soundproofed because I did not hear much noise. The hotel’s lobby was absolutely beautifully designed! Every single part of the lobby’s decor was smartly and nicely put together. Basically, I was WOWed when I entered the hotel. My check-in was quick and easy. I requested a room on a high floor with some city views and got one. My Superior Double Room (#5109) was a good size just for one person. Its design was also very nice. All the furniture was in great condition. The room had all the necessary amenities to feel comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was magnificently decorated with a mix of grey, gold, and blue colors. The bathroom amenities were of very nice quality and had a pleasant scent. The Wi-Fi was fast. I paid $85 per night for my room, and I find this rate reasonable for the high hotel quality. If I go back to Istanbul, I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers.

After the current stay, I know that previously my room wasn’t upgraded. This time room was big with a very big bathroom. Comfortable bed as well as soft, new towels. However, the breakfast should be improved. Selection of food is low and some. It was a pleasure for me to come back.

We had an amazing stay at Mercure Istanbul Sirkeci hotel and the highlights were the hotel location and definitely also the helpful staff at the hotel. Reception staff were extremely helpful recommending us sites to visit, the times to do so and also with shopping and restaurant recommendations. Hotel room had everything we needed and the daily cleaning was done excellently. In case of problems with the AC you have to inform the front desk and they will switch it on/check it. After that everything worked perfectly. Big thank you to the staff and definitely recommend this hotel.

The Mercure Istanbul Sirkeci Hotel is located in a historic building in the Sirkeci district, within walking distance of the city's main attractions. The rooms are large and cozy, the cleaning is of high quality. There is a restaurant on site. The staff is attentive and responsive, especially I would like to note the work of the staff at the reception, in particular Serkan. He always gave good advice on where to go and where to eat.
