Great team and lovely hotel

Fantastic hotel which has recently been much improved since the last time I visited. They have been making such an effort to step up appearances and it doesn't go unnoticed. Even the fitness facilities have improved by getting re-upholstered. Next, they'll just have to upgrade the machines themselves! The best thing (above all else), for the hotel is the sensational team that they have, in particular Lisa, Elise & Nicky on reception - they are just brilliant. Lisa, no matter what is always there to support, like some sort of reception Goddess! I love staying here, the hotel and the people.

All the staff here are absolutely amazing. There is nothing they wouldn’t do for you. Sian is a skilful and talented therapist.

Great hotel, from arrival to departure all staff were exceptional. We were upgraded to a privilege room [larger, pod coffee and stocked fridge] Food was excellent and service at the bar and in the restaurant was faultless. Lovely grounds, nice to walk around. Easy to find and lots of parking [2 EV Chargers]

I am a Law Degree Professional and Member of various decent Hotel Brands. A British Citizen. But, the Mercure KenWood Hall Hotel and Spa. In Sheffield. United Kingdom. Is not worthy of its Star Rating. The Staff behave in a UnEducated. Ignorant. Bigoted Manner towards Guests of non-Caucasian Heritage. Guests/ Ethnic People with Brown Skin are Abused. Insulted. Stared at as if they are Aliens. The Chief Executive Officer should Dismiss/ Sack/Fire certain Incompetent. Vile Communication Managers/Manageresses. And Reception Staff. They are a Disgrace to Hotels. SIGNED: LLB LAW.

Don’t accept room 231 unless the noise issue has been fixed. Tired building but some good friendly members of staff.

Huge issue with 24/7 noise of water swirling around in the aircon / heating system in bedroom. Wash’t resolved during our stay, despite 4 approaches to staff.
