Nice hotel with very competitive rates

Very good vale for money. The staff are friendly, the rooms very clean and the beds soo comfortable. The nearby parking is expensive, ask for the discount code in advance of entering.

Check-in and check-out staff were great, as were the catering staff (thank you for the Yorkshire Tea bags). However the staff member working on Friday night 10th October told us the bar was closed. We questioned this with one of his colleagues on Saturday morning who said the bar is meant to be open 24/7. Asked several times for an extra pillow (we only had on each), but these never materialised. Also, the breakfast is expensive for what you get. There is a Wetherspoons 5 minutes walk away that serves a much cheaper breakfast, has a greater variety of choice and do breakfasts until 12 noon.

Very clean room, breakfast was mediocre so won’t rate the hotel highly as the bed was also extremely hard and at check in the lady on reception was not very welcoming! Strange in a city were most people are friendly. The parking is also quite a walk.

It was nice and clean but unfortunately no window can get any fresh air and sometime gets very hot and there's no even a little fridge to keep refreshment otherwise okay but there is no parking
