We chose Mercure for a family trip to Timisoara as I am an All member. I previously stayed at Ibis Timișoara, which was an excelent stay for a single person, but want it to try also Mercure. Very good help with the reservation by phone from one of the staff and I thank for this. The check in was fast and staff very friendly. Room looked very cozy in the beginning and interesting due to tech controlling all in there. And now the disappointment start. The heating was set on cold and could not changed it to warm. After a phone call to the reception managed to do it. However, the air from the vent was cold even when setting the temperature to max (28 degrees C). Complaint to the reception 2 days in a row and was giving all kinds of bs. excuses. Only in the last day of our stay this was fixed (my guess is that the general system was still set to cold and they had no one that could.come in weekend to set to warm). Another disappointment- breakfast. Very poor choices, small quantities (no butter one morning and out of stock!), poor quality of jams, old (hope not expired) chocolate cream etc. 2 stars hotel breakfast. Comparing, Ibis Timisoara breakfast was way better. 0verall it was a feeling of making whatever savings possible by the owners (I believe is an affiliated hotel to Accor, not directly owned). Not worth the 4 stars.

Hello ,we booked it for two days the staff was very kind and professional ,the room had an ecological air conditioner not working properly ,we only had breakfast buffet wich was very good .Please check ur bill before paying ,parking outside

Mi esposa y yo nos alojamos en este hotel durante 3 noches entre el 21 y el 24 de junio. Tuvimos una muy agradable estancia salpicada de pequeñas y nada graves frustraciones. El hotel está algo alejado del centro, 20 minutos caminando, no es culpa del hotel sino mía por no saber leer bien el mapa. Sin embargo tiene a 20 metros 3 paradas del tranvía, así que el problema de la distancia se reduce. El personal es especialmente amable, te saludan siempre, cosa que no hacen todos los hoteles. La decoración nos gustó mucho, hay un oso de peluche gigante en la entrada, tuve que prometerle uno igual a mi esposa. El desayuno fue suficiente y el comedor bien atendido. La habitación me pareció muy pequeña para la categoría que reservamos, pero nos adaptamos bien. Lo moderadamente frustrante fue el sistema eléctrico, todo con modernos paneles digitales bañados en tenue luz azul... que funcionaban muy caprichosamente. Conectaba el teléfono a recargar y se apagaban todas las luces, o se encendían, las del baño parecían tener vida propia prendiéndose y apagándose solas. Y el agua del retrete, de esos con sensores automáticos (creo), se soltaba a cada momento, por ser el baño muy pequeño, entrabas, te movías algo y el agua se descargaba. Estuvimos cerca de pensar que habían fantasmas o algo, con todo funcionado por si solo.

We liked the room size and location. The breakfast was just OK, but the staff was nice. Great walk-in shower Disliked · The hotel scent, air freshener etc. was very strong and I didn’t like it at all. Thick carpet in the room feels less sanitary.

Rundum ein Hotel zum Wohlfühlen. Lage nicht ganz im Zentrum. Stylisch ( Geschmacksache), Sauber, Gemütlich. Sehr gute Küche. Super Frühstück. Freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen. Eins der besten Häuser in Rumänien. Immer wieder gerne….
