Stayed here for 4 nights late Jan / early Feb. Booked a Deluxe room with breakfast included. Good central location in CBD. Restaurants and a couple of bars nearby. 10 minute walk to the railway station - for train to Freemantle / Rottnest ferry / Cottesloe Beach. Clean room, decent buffet breakfast.

Poor service, poor management, poor all round and not worth it

An overpriced Ibis without the service that wants to be hip but is not. After a 5.5hr flight I checked in and as a Accor plus Platinum member was told they were going to charge me at check in for my stay ! Yes I felt really special for all the wrong reasons ! Asked if I had a complimentary upgrade…No….Threw my stuff in the room and went down to the bar to enjoy a complimentary drink and a quick bite to eat at 9:05pm….No the bar closed at 9pm…!!! yet it was still busy…went to the Novotel across the street…got back to the room and noticed multiple brown stains on the carpet that looked fresh and did not look good….no bath robes available in the room, ironing board is wonky and the iron looks like to was bought from the reject shop, but it did work…toilet paper holder is loose so every time the roll just falls on the floor…towel was like sand paper and had a hole in it, no amenities at all in the bathroom. Setup the Nespresso machine as I had an early start the next morning. Jumped into bed and tried to switch the to on…no luck..luckily I carry spare batteries for my mouse….bed was pretty comfortable, pillows were not…next morning I woke up to find the seal on the nespresso machine had failed and water had gone all over the bench and onto the floor…cleaned that up and went to make a cup noticing that only 4 pods of coffee were in the six pod holder…as a diabetic I opened the drawer to find only real sugar, no sugar substitute….It’s 5:30am !!!! That was day 1…it doesn’t get any better, no low carb options on tap and the wait staff literally ignored me when I asked why not…just awful and made me me feel like I was a problem and unwanted…

DO NOT STAY HERE. Would give negative stars if possible. The experience while we were there was okay but after checkout I realised I had accidentally left some items behind of considerable value. I contacted them straight away and thus began a gigantic ABSOLUTE rigmarole. I have sent them over 10 emails with delayed response (to which I have supplied everything they need to mail my items back including my credit card details) and have had them hang up on me multiple times. HORRIBLE service. It appears they have taken my items for personal use and have made an absolute joke of their customer service after paying quite a large amount to stay there. For them to request my credit card details and then ghost me on all accounts seems very suspicious. UNPROFESSIONAL, SHADY AND INCOMPETENT

Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and the art added some character. Beds comfortable and TV had Chromecast which is a plus. Fast wifi. Location is great, very centrally located in the city. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pool area was nice, although it is small and can get busy easily. Gym is well equipped for a hotel gym. Overall I would definitely stay again.

Great rooms, facilities and location

Recent stay overview 31st January, 2025. Location/Parking: A great spot in the city close to Hay and Murray St Malls. The Wilsons Car Park, backs on to the hotel and is easy & convenient, the Hotel can validate the ticket to ensure a prefered price of AUD $25 per 24 hour stay. Check-in: Daniela at front desk was both welcoming and professional for both check in and check out and well recognised my Accor Membership. Overall I had an enjoyable first time stay, having stayed previously at most Accor Hotels in Perth. Rooms: Excellent room type for my stay in terms of size, the welcome amenity and note also most appreciated. (not sure about the pillow's, though quite round to try and sleep on). The room was perfectly clean & well presented, the bathroom provides luxe toiletries by APPELLES (a leading Australian brand). Facilities: Well appointed 1st Floor Restaurant, great decor, also next to the Pool. Other: The only issue was on Sat the 1st mid morning, prior to check out, I was hoping to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine utilising my complimentary drink voucher, unfortunately the server didn't seem to know how this worked, unaware of my claim that it usually includes beer wine and soft drinks, I was advised only coffee tea or softs drinks could be provided, and the server claimed they can't service alcohol till after 11:30. My understanding of local serving regulations is that as long as the outlet is open and indeed for an inhouse guest at that, full service would usually be available. I emailed the hotel this comment, but have yet to receive a reply. Other than that a very enjoyable stay, I look forwarding to further stays in the future.
