We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and from the limited information that we got from the internet, we didn't have high hopes but we trusted our travel agent (The amazing team at Trailfinders!) and went with it as we were only staying a few nights. Wow what a total surprise! We knew that there weren't proper windows in the room (why?) and we had expected it be depressing and awful, however, it was the total opposite. The room was bright and had frosted windows in the separate shower and toilet coupled with glass doors to the bedroom which let light flood in. The hotel has a small pool and sunbathing area and everything was very centrally located as all of the hotels in the small local area are just a couple of minutes stroll away as is the tiny "town area." Shops, restaurants and basic facilities are sooo easy to reach and all the hotels seem to share their facilities as we ate in the nearby Sails in the Desert hotel which was phenomenal!! Lots to see and do nearby and very laid back. Our very clean room had A/C and a large comfortable bed with a sofa and in the shower there was shampoo, conditioner (bonus) and shower gel. We loved our stay so much that we can't wait to return!!

Good for couple of nights

Nice size room with clean bed. The floor could do with a proper clean and looked a bit tired. Dont understand the design with no window in the actual room. It really needed a small sofa and table for the luggage etc. The staff were good and gave us useful information. The overall complex is fine with an IGA and gift shops and two cafes and hotel restaurants. There are a number of free walks and talks. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes around the hotels (did not sue) and a free shuttle runs to and from the airport (again did not use)

Fine for a couple of nights

Nice size room with clean bed. The floor could do with a proper clean and looked a bit tired. It really needed a small sofa and table as we hate sitting on beds so had to drag the balcony chairs in but had nowhere to put drinks. The pool was lovely and not too busy. The staff were great and gave us an extension for our last morning so a star for that. The overall complex is fine with an IGA and gift shops and two cafes and hotel restaurants. There are a number of free walks and talks. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes around the hotels and a free shuttle runs to and from the airport.

Comfortable stay, good value for money

The room was comfortable. It was good value for money. We would be mostly out so we wanted something with less frills. It does not have in house restaurant but the geckos cafe is practically in house and of course sails in the desert is few minutes away. Only thing is in our room the body wash was not filled and it did not get filled next day as well. By the time we would be back reception would be closed and hence we were unable to complain for the same as well.

Tired but practical

The room had seen better days but good value for money and you can use the facilities of the Sails in the Dessert 100 yards away. Free laundry was useful. The fact there was no restaurant or bar floored us 1 st night but soon learnt to use Sails in the Dessert.
