We booked a week here, Lovely spacious apartment, great view and really central. Surrounded by good restaurants and bars. A short walk to The Wharf development. We will be back.

Stayed at Mantra Sirrocco for three night. Booked using our Accor Plus membership. Upgraded to top floor apartment due to our membership status. Apartment was AMAZING! Very modernly styled and overlooking water. Had a balcony so spent one afternoon whale watching. We were lucky as the bay had about ten whales playing in the water. Lots of food options in the area and a Coles supermarket. Secure car parking available. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Sirocco Mooloolaba was great and good location, well presented and staff were Friendly & helpful. The only down fall was our apartment 301 didn't have any curtains or blinds in the main living area plain glass walls. To have Breakfast or view the TV or I-pads was very difficult due to the glare from the morning sun through the plain glass walls No shelving in the shower in 2nd bathroom to place your Shampoo & Conditioner & Bath wash as it was on the floor in the shower. We know it is up to the owner of the unit to have these things in place.

Great location and view

Great position right on the Esplanade, easy access to the beach, shopping and cafes. The apartment interior was clean, but unfortunately the balcony wasn’t. There were some maintenance issues which were not noticed by housekeeping staff prior to our arrival, and once raised with Reception staff were addressed. Furniture in the apartment was not very comfortable, particularly the lounge and bedding. Appreciate these apartments are privately owned, but you would think there would be standards. On the whole it’s OK, would benefit from more detailed checks from housekeeping staff before allowing guests to access rooms. Was more expensive than last stay.

Horrendous noise, major roadworks right outside the apartment

Having booked sixteen nights at Sirocco Mooloolaba at over $500 per night we were horrified to be confronted with major roadworks happening directly outside our apartment, the noise started at 6.30am until 3pm. This information was not disclosed to us. When we contacted the agency they said the owner told us to close the door and turn on the air-conditioning and he refused any refund or compensation. The problem with that solution is that not only is there horrendous noise outside, inside they are doing major renovations two floors at a time, this meant that there was also jack hammering noise happening inside the apartment. It was so bad, we are leaving after three nights and putting in a claim with fair trading, we honestly couldn’t stay there any longer. If you value your peace, do not stay here.I tried adding a video of how bad the noise is but it would only let me add photos.
