We have a lovely stay here. Very convenient location, and well equip. Kitchen with all you need. Laundry with washing powder and dryer make a week stay very comfortable. If the wifi can work faster and better that will be great help. Small gym on site is good.

Old and outdated this building is tired the only thing it really has going for it is location but then again with Bulcock street being left behind with the progress of the Sunshine Coast the whole area feels very old. Our room was dark & dingy the spa on the balcony was just the old spa from the bathroom being moved on to the balcony making the balcony small. Good things was good that they provided secure parking and luggage trolleys. The hallways are old and no vibe to them. After we had already booked they told us they were updating the pool area if we choose to cancel our booking because it was no refundable it would cost us $500 Probably would not f been nice to mention this on the booking page not tell guests after the fact, nothing like getting woken every morning at 8am by the sounds of a jack hammer The Grand pacific is over 20 years old and it shows it’s old fashioned and tired

Location central to waterfront and good eats. Parking onsite is great. Older style apartment hotel - which is fine if the price paid reflects this (ours did). Major issues for us though were the draughts coming in under the door and the lack of proper bedding. Just sheets and a couple of small blankets in the wardrobe (seemed to be old Op shop blankets that were sized much smaller than the bed). If we'd stayed longer than 2 nights we would of either had to buy a cheap quilt or find alternative accommodation. We didn't sleep well and were cold.

First room we were given was disgusting, rusty tapware , grotty shower , dirty marked walls , carpet was threadbare and lifting up which was a tripping hazard, lounges were very dirty , furniture and kitchen was 40yrs out of date . Only good thing about this place was the view and location and staff .After I complained that this was supposed to be a 4 star I was given a better room, same view ,everything still looked 40yrs old but it was clean and maintained. Still not a 4 star though. These apartments are independently owned so it’s hit and miss on whether you get a owner who is a cheapskate or not .

Stayed just 1 night in a 2bed with roof top spa . Unit was a great size and the roof top spa was a hit , even on a windy and rainy night . There is pool construction going on at the moment (may 2024) so it ruins the view . We paid over $400 for 1 night but I feel like with the construction they could reduce prices a bit as obviously there is no pool and it does not look great . But I did know this before hand and was paying for the roof spa and convenience of the location but it might be a big problem for others . The wind also Whistles through the closed doors so I think the seals are going . In the main bedroom it was quite noisy from the wind . My other issue was that I could not get the tv to work . There are no instructions and even after 30 min of pushing every button on the 3 remotes, I could not get a channel. It was very late and if staying longer I would have asked reception but if the tv set up is so complicated I feel they should have instructions ( they do for the spa and it was super easy to operate) . Overall stay was good .
