We have stayed at Peppers Soul nearly every December since their opening. This year we decided to splurge & rent the 3 Bedroom Sub Penthouse. What a beautifully appointed apartment. So much space & storage. The master suite was huge & beautifully furnished. King size bed, 2 large ottomans, lounge area with a double sofa & coffee table and a chaise lounge. The ensuite consisted of a separate room with a freestanding bathtub and an amazing ocean view. Through double doors was the double shower, double vanity & toilet. Through another set of double doors was the huge walk in robe with abundant hanging space, shelves & drawers. There is a separate TV room with Japanese style sliding doors, a generously sized powder room, laundry, lounge room, huge kitchen, dining room, office area, 2 other bedrooms one of which was generously sized and a spacious main bathroom with toilet. There’s a main balcony with a dining table, sun lounge & an amazing view of the coastline. There is also a separate private balcony off the master suite & another long balcony off the two other bedrooms with a view of the Gold Coast night life & hinterland. All in all an amazing apartment with plenty of room for 6 adults to live comfortably. Free secure parking for one vehicle. Everything you could want is within close walking distance - beaches, restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping, nightclubs etc

Great stay but lacking that 5 star experience and service

Apartment is excellent size, incredibly spacious and has almost everything you would need. The location is fantastic, so close to shops, entertainment and restaurants, and right across from the beach. All rooms have a beautiful view and huge balcony. The fridge had filtered water and ice machine maker which is great. Nespresso machine in the room but no milk frother which is really what makes the difference with coffee! A few things that let our stay down - they tried to charge us $25 a day for parking, I checked 2 weeks prior to staying on their website it said complementary parking - they agreed to wave it only when I brought this up and said the price changed Dec 1 - make sure they don’t charge you if you booked before this date! The room cleanliness lacked attention to detail. There was only 1 pan in the kitchen for cooking which was unusable, not sure how old it is but no amount of oil or low heat would prevent everything sticking to the pan - we called housekeeping asking to replace the pan to make pancakes as we couldnt with the one provided.. 1 hour later someone brought up a handful of pens? We said we wanted a pan not pens, then later brought a pan with the exact same issue. On the day prior to checkout we returned from a day out and housekeeping attending to find the fridge filter not working at all (error code on door) - called housekeeping who said they would send maintenance up but no one ever came. Lastly, the main bedroom of the 3 bed apartment has 2 single beds pushed together.. I don’t know why hotels do this as it’s so uncomfortable for couples. Overall our stay was great but can’t give 5 stars for the reasons above - soul would do well to provide better customer service.

I can assure you this matter will be reviewed internally to improve response times and follow-up procedures. Finally, we understand your concerns about the two single beds in the master bedroom. While this setup is sometimes used to provide flexibility for different guest preferences, we will review how we can better meet the expectations of couples staying with us. Hidden structural damage in water leaks. Presidential Suite

Upon arrival with no concierge service. Had to attend reception and ask for someone to provide assistance. Housekeeping rude, inattentive. Floors filthy on arrival, No liquid handsoap replaced after repeated requests, insufficent tpilet paper, towels and cleanliness. Toilet blocked in apt 6302, housekeeping is extremely poor. Dead moth sat on walkin robe floor for 2 weeks yet they say they vaccumed and or vaccumed around it. Had to request linen change after 5 days stay, housekeeping had no intention of doing it on a Sunday. 4th bedroom in North East corner flooded after storm. The angle of the building structural design has drainage incorrectly installed. 15 years, 3 builders, bankruptcy and flooding from top floor to bottom at 60, yet side door unusable into Soul Boardwalk due to flooding and drainage problems damaging access. My son was forced to sleep on an uncomfortable old sofa bed after housekeeping pushed a giant water filled bubble in the plaster in window sill. Building manager inspected and maintenance. Maintenance staff and housekeeping vaccuming water out of carpet. Mould build up in 4th bedroom in flooring. Room stinks and is musty. Food stains on couch. There are better places to stay for $18,000 for 10 nights. Try the JW Marriott. Cheaper and 5 star service. I will offically be returning to the JW. Soul is an absolute dump that needs serious structural repairs and better Customer Service.

We were very happily surprised at the size and quality of our one-bedroom apartment. The view from the 12th floor was beautiful and we left the balcony doors open at night to hear the surf. We enjoyed the outdoor pool complex and indoor spa very much after our walks.

Great stay, fantastic location, very comfortable and quiet room, with spectacular views and outstanding facilities. Couldn't fault the rooms and we look forward to returning soon. In the heart of surfers with plenty of great restaurants and lots of variety very close by. The beach is right across the esplanade and it all so convenient. The only slight down side was the wait for a lift during busy periods.
