We have just returned from a five-night stay at Novotel Surfers Paradise in a Superior Ocean Front room. The positives first: the location is fantastic, right in the heart of Surfers Paradise and close to everything. The room was spacious, the ocean views overlooking Cavill Avenue were excellent. Check in was smooth and a special mention to Nathan, who was wonderful. I had bought flowers and chocolates for my friend’s room as she joined us for one night to celebrate our birthdays and he made sure everything was beautifully arranged, including a bottle of wine and a cupcake, which was a lovely touch. Unfortunately, several service details were lacking throughout our stay, which was disappointing given the hotel’s reputation and pricing. There was no spare toilet roll in the room, only the one already on the holder, we had to contact reception to get more. The soap dispenser in the shower ran out and was not replenished. Milk was not replaced after housekeeping and rubbish was not removed when the room was serviced. There were also no plates or cutlery provided in the room. When I called reception, I was initially told to collect them from the restaurant myself. After raising my concern, I was advised they would be delivered, however after waiting 40 minutes nothing arrived and I ended up collecting them myself so we could eat our takeaway on the balcony. There were times when no one answered, it took a few calls to get through or you just give up all together. Pool service lacked attention to detail, with empty cocktail glasses not cleared when new drinks arrived. A receipt also fell from the tray and was left to blow away in the breeze until I picked it up myself. Breakfast was extremely busy and appeared understaffed. Cutlery was not replenished the staff member cooking eggs was clearly overwhelmed managing multiple orders. While these may seem like small things individually, together they detracted from what should have been a quality stay. Having worked in hospitality for over 20 years, these are the basic details that make a difference. Great location and views, but service consistency needs improvement to match the price point.

리셉션, 하우스키핑 직원들의 응대 방식, 요구사항 처리 만족도가 최악임 레스토랑 직원은 만족도가 상대적으로 높음 시설의 노후화가 심각 (세면대에는 수건걸이 조차 없음) 룸 내부 조도가 너무 낮음 룸 클린을 요청하였으나 진행되지 않음 룸에 슬리퍼 미배치 및 리셉션에 요청하였으나 직원에 따라 안내가 바뀜 (유선상 개당 $2 요구, 리셉션 방문시 호텔에 비치된 슬리퍼가 없으며 2주후에나 주문 예정) 서퍼파라다니스 바로 앞에 위치하여 해변 접근성이 매우 뛰어나며, 컨시어지에서 부기보드를 무료로 대여해주는 것이 유일한 장점

Follow up my last year review . Nothing much has changed . It is mainly the convinient location and a brilliant friendly manager Lorrele otherwise the breafast bar has not improved at all if not worse while the price has gone up again ! Accor privillages are declining gradually towards complete withdrawal sooner or later ! Total rating should be 3.5 maximum

We have stayed at this hotel on and off since 2022, and while the hotel has always had its downsides, we still valued the comfort, cleanliness and location, so were willing to ignore little quirks. After our recent stay here during December 2025, we have resolved to not return to this hotel. Every single night since we have been here we have been kept awake all night by rude, noisy guests yelling, playing loud music, slamming doors as if the doors have somehow personally wronged them, and yelling obscenities in the halls. Reception says "report it", but how does one report it when every time you call down to reception no one answers and the phone just rings out? The couple of times we did manage to get through, security just came up, lightly tapped on the noisy guest's door and very timidly asked them to keep the noise down. That's not action. It appears that this hotel is marketing itself, and pricing itself, to a specific type of clientele which, quite frankly, should not be synonymous with the Accor brand, and certainly not the Novotel brand. The kind of antics we have put up with during our stay are the kind I would expect to encounter at some bogan backpacker joint. After many mostly positive stays over the years, this has been a deal breaker, and we will not be back.

위치가 너무 좋고 멀긴하지만 골드코스트의 바다뷰도 미쳤습니다. 기간이 길다면 더 있어서 골드코스트바다에서의 해수욕도 즐기고 싶었지만 하루밖에 안 있어서 아쉬웠어요. 다행히 날씨도 너무 좋을때 가서 행복했습니다.
