Launceston is a small city in Tasmania,and i think..it's hard to find any information about this city... As a member of Accor,I chose Peppers seaport Launceston. The hotel was good,like resort/apartment hotel..but quite odd.. Something that i like was the circumstances near the seaport..very nice and beautiful. The location was 10 minutes drive from CBD..but it's quite far if you want to walk from CBD. There were 4-5 restaurants near the hotel. Peppers also provide microwave,stove,washing machine,dishwasher,so you can cook,and wash your shirt/pants too..

Hôtel très bien situé, ma chambre était très grande avec une superbe vue. Mais: - Mal isolé du bruit. Un enfant crie à l'extérieur, on l'entend. Tout comme la musique quand il y a une fête au club d'aviron en face. - L'hôtel ne propose pas de petit déjeuner sur place et l'employé de la réception a été incapable de me dire où je pourrai prendre mon petit-déjeuner le lendemain matin (25 décembre). Assez déroutant. - Plus grave: quelqu'un (sans doute du service ménage) est entré dans ma chambre 30 minutes avant l'heure du check out alors qu'un "NE PAS DERANGER" était accroché sur la porte. J'étais dans la salle de bain. Comme la personne a vite vu la valise dans le salon, elle a vite refermé la porte mais je n'ai pas entendu d'excuses. C'était particulièrement désagréable. NE PAS DERANGER signifie NE PAS DERANGER. Dans le doute, on frappe, on s'annonce, on attend, on refrappe, on s'annonce à nouveau et si pas de réponse en entre doucement. Surréaliste. Formez votre personnel!

Modern, clean, on the waterfront and close to restaurants and bars

Modern hotel in great location surrounded by a multitude of different restaurants and bars on the waterfront but close enough to the town centre. It was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities you needed except an onsite restaurant for brekkie - although there was a link to one (breakfast was not included and as it happened we had our own supplies - there was crockery, cutlery, milk, tea, coffee in the room as well as a fridge). Only downside - having to pay extra to park your car on site. Good location for your stay - and do visit Cataract Gorge - it was fabulous.

Great location and excellent service. We had a room overlooking the harbour and it was huge - lots of space to store bags and a separate sitting area. It's close to 2 great restaurants and walking distance to the CBD main shopping mall.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at peppers seaport in Launceston . We found the hotel very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful . We had a river view room and the view was beautiful with plenty of restaurants nearby and only a short walk into the city centre . We are going back to Launceston soon will stay a peppers again
