Peppers Seaport Hotel

Nice hotel in a good location on the river. It doesn’t have its own bar or restaurant which is a shame, as riverfront dining would be delightful, but there are several options close by including Pepper Silo hotel and the CBD is just a few minutes walk. We had a suite with a kitchenette and laundry, and were given sachets of laundry liquid which allowed us to do some laundry and pack out suitcases with clean clothes. The staff were friendly and the parking at a good rate. As Accor members we were gifted a bottle of wine on arrival which was a nice touch.

We stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The 2 bedroom apartment overlooked the esplanade. Short walk to the city shops and lovely parkland behind the hotel. The view from, the balcony was tremendous. Skit and watch the world walk by. I cannot praise all the staff enough. From the different people on reception to the friendly professional cleaners.

This hotel is located with the Mud Bar restaurant below numerous of the rooms. This restaurant plays loud duff duff music (huge bass) from early afternoon till late. Basically a night club. Room moves! Need to wear ear plugs unless you’re out and back past midnight. So suggest you book elsewhere unless you like staying up very late listening to duff duff music and with the room shaking.

This suite was more like an apartment, with a large living room overlooking over the river and a full kitchen with a washer and dryer. It was in an excellent location on the waterfront with great dining options in walking distance.
