Disappointing stay, false advertisement for the room pictures on the website

Heartist review here :) I’m utterly disappointed with the room I was given because it is completely different from the pictures on the Accor website. I booked the executive room and it feels like I was staying in the old un-refurbished room. I came back to the reception right after I saw the old tired dusty room and the nice lady said she couldn’t do anything since the room was sold out and if I wanted to complain I have to come back again the next day and speak to the manager and she couldn’t do anything about it, despite telling her a few times that my schedule in Goldcoast is packed and I couldn’t bother to come for complain the next day. She also admitted that they don’t even have the room advertised on the Accor website anymore and that the rooms all have different decorations and configurations, so I have to come and try the next day to get a ‘better’ room which is absolutely a joke to Accor’s standards (huge false advertisement). On the other hand, I booked the room months prior to the stay and emailed the reservations from the Accor website 3 times before the stay to let them know that I’m staying for my birthday trip and it’s my first time in Goldcoast to ask for a nice room. I didn’t even get a reply back from them and to have this experience with the room is deeply frustrating. I will never return and will warn anyone to never stay in this hotel:)

The staff were incredibly helpful and accomodating, it was a special trip for my mum and our first room had no view on a lower floor. I asked if there was a chance to be moved to a higher floor which the lady at reception sorted for us and found us an amazing room for our 6 night stay. The location was perfect aswell, right in the heart of surfers. We will definatley be back. :))

Will not be staying again.

Sad to say we would have preferred to stay home or camp around the pool. Room and balcony untidy, room outdated and needing repairs and updating. Doors to balcony worn down so they wouldn’t open and seals of them not adequate, allowing insects in. Stains on one of the sheets of the bed. Thankfully didn’t need that bed. Not happy with the noise of the air conditioning and then the fire alarm been set off at 1 in the morning for no reason. Both my daughter’s, 11 months and 3 waking up to it. Two out of the three tvs not working for the duration of our stay. Rusted and worn down shower and bath. Made it unappealing and concerning to bath/ shower my girls. On a postive note. Pool was amazing though, we enjoyed our time there.

古いアパートメントだが、立地が大変良い。サーファーズパラダイスセンターの上にホテルがあるので、地下にウールワースがあり、買い物に便利です。 ホテルのベランダからの眺めがとても良いです。今回も２ベッドルームあり部屋が広くて満足だが、何しろ古いホテルなので、高級感はない。夕方になると前の道でパフォーマンスがあったりして賑やかです。週に２度くらい、ビーチに露天のお店が並び人で賑わっています。 お風呂ですが、2人目が入るとシャワーのお湯がぬるくなるのが欠点です。キッチン用具を新しくして欲しい。

Heb het hotel rechtstreeks bij de Mantra groep geboekt. Bij aankomst ben ik er na 10 minuten rondrijden zeker 10 keer langs gereden. Ik kon het niet vinden. Beide entree gebouwen en receptie zwoorden grondig gereserveerd. Zo grondig dat je het niet ziet. Er zijn aan de buitenkant hekken met zoveel borden geplast dat je door de bomen het bos niet meer ziet. Het is erg onoverzichtelijk en er staan veel bouw materialen en machines bij beide torens. Waarom bij Beide? maak een keus door eerst de ene en dan de andere toren te doen. Op de grond zijn moeilijk zichtbaar gevaren lijnen getekend. Niet meer te zien. Uit de liften lopen aan de bovenkant de draden uit de muur. Navraag bij de manager was dat het op de site stond dus ik had het kunnen weten....... Jammer. Voorstel gehad voor korting op een volgende boeking. Maar daar heb ik van te voren niet om gevraagd..... Appartement was mooi, uitzicht op het strand. Wij waren hier in juli en dan is het "winter" op surfers paradise. S'nachts koud en geen verwarming in het appartement. Wel een extra dun dekentje
