Thanks Peppers for the most amazing stay on beautiful Magnetic Island. We were pleasantly surprised with our huge upgraded room with peaceful Marina views. Early check-in was great too. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and the pool and tropical surrounds a relaxing way to spend a few hours after exploring the Island. TransLink busses were a bonus - only $1 to get around, so we left the car behind at the secure sealink car park which was only $10 a night). All staff were friendly and happy. Such a great little getaway!!!

The room was pretty bad, the ensuite has no door, and the shower faced the road. There was also no fan in the bathroom. The stovetop would not work and no one told us the switch is actually on top of the range hood until the day before we left. There was mould on the blinds and because there were no curtains you have to either have the blinds completely up, so everyone can see in, or down, so you couldn’t see out and felt claustrophobic. If the apartments are owned by individuals, Accor should require them to keep their apartments to a certain standard, including having sheets and curtains, no mould, the ensuite needs to be reconfigured and there should be carpets in both bedrooms. The staff were really nice the pool was great and the restaurant was also really good for actual dinner. But breakfast was very mediocre. Ok, but mediocre.
