Good stay - but floor dirty in room

It was a good stay but the floor in my room (232) was very dirty. There were the previous guest's medication (pills) on the floor near the night stand. If you walked on the floor after your shower your feet would actually get dirty. Needed a good vacuum and mop. All else was fine.

Really beautiful place to stay with amazing grounds and pool, felt like I was in Fiji! Only wish I was there for leisure not work so I could have a swim in the beautiful pool & enjoy the place more. Staff were lovely and friendly, and room was exactly what I needed. Just be good to have more vegetarian meal options, but what I did have (homemade pumpkin gnocchi) was good.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Mercure Townsville. The gardens were amazing, lots of birds, very tranquil. The facilities were excellent. Very clean room & comfortable bed.
