First time to Townsville so a transit before moving on to Magnetic Island for us. Wonderful staff who looked after us with checkin and at the bar and restaurant. It is an older property and the room was quite small for a king bed I thought. We were offered an upgrade but it was too a room with two queen beds? No single room with King bed available for upgrade which was unfortunate. It was also not very busy either at least not by the pool :) We loved the meals that we had there which was breakfast and dinner (had the roast and fish of the day).

Stay was good but the pillows were really uncomfortable too thin could of stacked 3 or 4 together and the aircon had a strange noise which is notable at night when quieter
