I booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Upon arrival the hotel looked nice and modern, and then we got to our room. the smell was musty, the room was filthy. the coffee table still had crumbs and ringlets from drinks from previous customers, the walls were filthy, the curtain were filthy and ripped, 1 window didn't close properly so it whistled all night. the bathroom had hair still on the floor, long black strands which my family does not. the kitchen table had one leg bent held together by a single screw. the bathroom had obviously had a water leak from the window and looked like it had been patched up by a 2 year old. The room said it was airconditioned. but only the living area was and not the 2 bedrooms which became sauna like. we had breakfast included and when we were told it was at the local cafe for a maximum of $40 per room which is much for 3 adults. the lift was filthy and looked like it had never been cleaned. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Very happy with my 5 day stay. Room was very clean and comfortable even had a mid stay service which was much appreciated. Definitely would stay here again. Only downside was it is a bit dated but nothing that a coat of paint and some new furnishings would fix. Oh, and the lift is very slow.

The whole experience was horrible. The hotel very tired and not maintained. We left clothing but it was not returned.

This hotel is a joke. I am an Accor Platinum member. I booked a two-beeroom apartment for 2 nighs. The second day we were requested to move to a one-bed apartment with an extra bed. What a way to treat your Platinum guest! Can't you move someone else instead of your Platimum member? This hotel is a total joke. I demand the hotel's GM to contact me directly and apologise and refund me the first night for this terrible experience! I don't need your generic reply here. This is a serious warning to other fellow travelles:: Do NOT book this hotel!

Stayed 2 nights at the Mantra and was very disappointed. The staff were lovely but the room was very dirty … every surface was grimy and the windows (inside surfaces) were filthy. Paid extra for the sea view … but the windows are so high in the lounge area that when you sit down all you can see is sky! The furniture was sparse, old and dirty … the kitchen was just old and tired … you wouldn’t want to cook in the provided saucepans. Honestly, pay a little more and stay somewhere else.
