We were in Bowral for a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay. The staff are great, the accomodation good and the surroundings beautiful A shout out to I think Alex (?) on reception...I left my pillow and eye muffs in my room when we left and the hotel (and I think it was Alex) went to great trouble to take the pillow, box it up and post it to me. Sure they charged be the postage but their service - during a busy Christmas period went above and beyond. BIG THANK YOU !

Beautiful location and setting but the rooms are average at best. Hardly any room around the bed and the bathroom was tiny.

The original building is beautiful although needing some maintenance and the grounds are magnificent. Unfortunately the rooms are more budget in size and appearance and are a major letdown after seeing the homestead and grounds. There is hardly enough room to walk around the bed and you couldn't swing a cat in the bathroom, unless you get a short grip on his/her tail!! The buffet breakfast was extensive and great value.

Very attentive staff.Peppers Craigieburn. Bowral. Booking for 7 rooms, 3 nights. 15 people. What a disappointment? Our expectations were never reached. What does the name "Peppers" conjure up in your mind when looking for accommodation. ? A high standard of accommodation?? It did for our group. We thought it was going to be special. What a total let down when we arrived at this hotel. Reception and lounge rooms in the original building are absolutely beautiful. Website pictures. Our group (7 double rooms ) rooms for three nights at $325 per night . Now here is the BUT's Would you expect , a room with perhaps a view of the golf course or garden for $325 a night. We were given a room , first out the back overlooking the kitchen rubbish bins. A room so small and crowded that there was no reasonable space to put our luggage. A toilet so small that you wouldn't be able to "swing a cat.' in it. No window or ventilation in the toilet. Yes, the rooms were clean but so overcrowded with a king size bed. Front desk was almost adamant about changing our rooms. The usual story of no rooms left. We did get a better room to change to, but it was not really a big improvement. $325 per night for our group booking and yet they advertise today to the public for $197. No. despite a negotiated reduction, our group would never go back.

Das Hotel ist stark veraltet, ringhörig und unsauber!! Zimmer 112 war staubig, abgewohnt und jeder Charme fehlte. Badezimmer erinnerte an ein Leichenschauhaus, schlechte Beleuchtung, üble Pflegeprodukte und fusslige Badetücher. Fernbediung vom TV musste zuerst gereinigt werden da übles daran klebte. Einzig das Abendessen überzeugte. Checkin und Checkout war unfreundlich....
