Nestled amidst the bustling streets of Broadbeach, Mantra stands tall as a sanctuary from the activities below, offering a blend of modern comfort and convenience. My recent stay at this apartment hotel was very good, leaving me satisfied and happy in equal measure.

Been here before and it was great. This time our experience was very poor. Sunday 4.15pm and the fridge stopped working, and the kettle and hotplates. I had to Macgyver a dinner somehow. There are no contact details anywhere for help once reception leaves. No TV either and dishwasher didn't drain so that was useless. Sewerage smell from the second bedroom. Desperately needs a refit. For $626/night go somewhere else. My mantra will now be 'never stay at Mantra'.

We stayed for 5 nights we had a 1 bedroom unit on the park side it was very comfortable had everything we needed for our stay the kitchen had lots of cooking pots and pans etc and washing machine and dryer. The only things that annoyed us was out of their control there was a bit of music noise from the Casino and lots of cars/bike roaring up and down the highway but we expected it to not be a quiet location being on the hightway. Supermarket and resturants bus stops close by but had to walk about 5 mins for coffee as none of the resturants closeby had coffee. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews on cleanliness but found it to be clean and well presented. Wifi was very good and great Aircon. Nice 10 min stroll to Pacific Fair as its located right in the middle of 2 tram stops so not really worth the walk to the tram. Overall very good value for money.

Dirty and mouldy

Dirtiest hotel ever stayed in. Air Con faulty alerted staff to issues reception was apologetic however unable to do anything. Management non-existent. Tried to change room when we got there at 5.30 reception already closed. Next day they said they would fix things then just before 5pm when reception closed told us we would have to wait until the following day. The next day after a robust conversation was giving keys to another room to move into after 3pm. When we got to this room it was dirt again. The pictures from the air vents below are from this room. The air con was working better so moved and they finally came to clean the vents after more robust conversations. Many more things happened, or should I say didn't happen, but we are trying to forget the ordeal.

Awesome location and facilities, spa, gym , pool , restaurants, beach, shopping and casino. We travelled with a family of four, 2 teenage kids and it was a great experience. Room is quite spacy , fully equipped, some of the furniture is quite old but we had no problem with that.
