I don’t often give bad reviews, but this hotel requires an update. In my room the blinds were broken and look to have been for sometime. Originally only one button on the toilet flushed and by the end neither worked and it ran all night. Further to this there was a dirty sick left under the bathroom cabinet suggesting no one had bothered to vacuum/sweep there. I was staying with work colleagues and there experience was very similar.

I had accidentally left my necklace in the room while checking out, and honestly didn't expect to see it again. But when I called back shortly after, the staff had already found it, such a relief! Big shoutout to the lovely guy at reception who went above and beyond. He helped us store about 17 pieces of luggage (yes, 17!), and later even arranged a smooth after-hours check-in for us and found luggage inside our room The pool was closed during our stay, and while they did offer us access to the Sofitel, I honestly didn't mind the warmth and hospitality of the staff made up for everything.

Only issue is the aircon vents looks horrible with dust and my room nearby the elevator made sound all day. This was my third stay but the best thing I found this time was a new face on the reception and he patiently solved all our conference issues with the projector. Haven’t felt this level of service for a while from Mantra

The room looks nothing like the photos. Pretty drab. Website did not state that pool and sauna were under refurbishment. Parking was ok after complaining to reception. The property is on a good location. Pillows are good. I would not stay here again.

Dirty room. Poor service. Very disappointed!! Would not recommend staying here.

Having stayed with the Mantra brand numerous times before and working in the travel industry myself, there was a certain level of standard I expected when making this reservation. A week prior to check in, I spoke with front desk to ensure there would be a cot for our room as stated in our booking. Unfortunately, there was no cot in our room upon arrival and the receptionist even stated that she didn’t even know what a cot looked like but would try find one for us. I spoke with the manager to have a cot arranged asap but the sheets/blankets weren’t even the right size for the cot. The room was not cleaned properly as there was lots of hair in the bathroom draw, brown stains on the bathroom floor tiles and a huge amount of dust in the vents. Not to mention mould in another vent. Our balcony was filthy and there were cobwebs on the glass that clearly hasn’t been washed in months. I once again spoke with the manager and was promised a “VIP clean” of our room. This was not done. After complaining about the clean that was promised to us not having been done, a basic clean was finally done with no apology or compensation for our ongoing troubles. Would not recommend staying here!!! Travelling with an infant is hard enough, the last thing needed after a long day of travelling is checking into a dirty room with inadequate facilities.
