Underwhelming and overpriced

Legends Hotel, once a beacon of charm, now stands as a shadow of its former glory, seemingly abandoned by its investors. The foyer, adorned with disheveled lounges, is marred by unsightly stains, while the guests' lack of poolside etiquette has taken a toll on the hotel’s interior. The lifts, often wet, and the semi-damp carpets in the corridors contribute to an unpleasant odor, only faintly masked by plug-in scent dispensers. The guest rooms, however, are surprisingly well-maintained, featuring a Kmart-style décor that lacks sophistication. The beds are average to firm, with by clumpy synthetic pillows. When inquiring about alternative bedding options, the straightforward response was simply, "No, that's it." Overall, Mantra Hotels leave much to be desired for those seeking an experience beyond the ordinary. The offerings are basic at best, barely qualifying as a three-star establishment. The prime location is the sole redeeming quality in an otherwise disappointing stay.

We had a lovely stay here. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. It’s in a fantastic location, great views, walking distance to the main street and venues. Staff were accommodating wherever possible. My only suggestion is turn up your breakfast Bay Marie's. The hot breakfast was always just luke warm.

The location is great and the staff are friendly however I would not recommend. Unfortunately the room we booked (king studio) differed from the photos, which I understand can happen, but there were other issues - the room had an unpleasant smell, the carpet was old and dirty, the tv did not work, the surfaces of the room had dust plus one of the towels had marks. The staff did get the room cleaned and tv fixed immediately however for a 4 star hotel you would expect to walk into a clean hotel room with tv working.

Staff were extremely helpful & friendly, facilities were lovely, hotel is in a great location close to beach, shops & restaurants, beds were comfortable, buffet breakfast had a good selection of hot & cold foods and was enjoyable, pool area was nice with plenty of areas to sit &relax

Paid for a Luxury Studio Ocean View room for our 11 year anniversary. However, it turned out to be a little larger than a shoe box. No blankets or extra pillows, no parking, really old amenities (bathroom), tiny TV, and had to pay $200 for security deposit. Would not recommend for a nice get away.
