Comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and the washer machine and dryer mean you don't have to take a bag of dirty clothes home with you. Location is great, with a range of restaurants available nearby plus the beach within walking distance.

The reception staff was very good and helpful. The cleaning staff was very slack. I was there for 3 weeks and had to wash my own sheets and towels. I did complain to office 3 days prior they are aware

Amazing holiday over all, such a good location, most people were really friendly here however it was really off putting that what I can only assume are permanent residents choose to ignore the no smoking signs. It was very overwhelming to a point where I had to close all doors and windows from the smoke coming into my room, it was also very present when siting at the pool, almost no escape! Personally as someone with chronic lung issues this was off putting hence the 4/5. The bbq area also seemed like the floor needing attending to as it was very old and looked to be peeling at places which seems like a trip hazard. Also the outdoor spa pool was very cold and basically the same temperature as the pool…. The room we stayed in was beautiful and obviously recently renovated and clean.

We spent two weeks here. My honest opinion is it was fine for what we needed. The room we received was nice. sure it could do with a major spring clean but we went on holiday to go out and about and not sit in the room and look at the dirt! first night I did not see but the pillow I slept on the cover was stained badly which turned me off but a quick trip to reception and they got the cleaner to come and change it. The pool was great for the family but again it did seem a bit dirty towards the end of our stay. Other strange thing I found that was the mid stay room clean was completed was done on day 12 of a 14 day stay which is definitely not mid stay! This is our third stay here we love the location, garden and pool we would possibly return but would hope the standards lift before doing so.

Excellent location at Broadbeach with well appointed facilities. The facilities are in need of refurbishment (pool and surrounds). We stayed in a 3 bedroom ground floor unit and unfortunately our room was filthy and had obviously not been cleaned properly. There was dirt, grime, hairballs on the carpet with hair remaining in the bathrooms. It was such an issue that we had to vacuum the apartment on arrival before we had a chance to complain to management when convenient. To their credit, they did send someone over to perform a quick vacuum but it was not enough. The room needed a deep clean and some TLC. It was so filthy we were concerned about the health of our young children being in contact with the carpet/linen so we limited our time in the room. Our porch was dirty with mildew everywhere. The curtains were stained with mildew/mould and walls were significantly scuffed with some awful stains on the aged carpet. It was not up to standard! This was certainly not quality of stay were were expecting from Accor at BreakFree Diamond Beach. We actually had the opportunity to follow our stay with some nights at the BreakFree Alexandra Headlands and the comparison was like chalk and cheese further highlighting the issue with our room at Broadbeach. Hopefully our experience was an isolated experience for prospective visitors the BreakFree Diamond Beach.
