The a/c is split into two zones but only one zone at a time can operate meaning that half the apartment is not air conditioned. Not great in 35 c degree weather.

We have been staying at Peppers Broadbeach for the last 5 years, this will be our last. I booked a 3 bedroom Sky home which we have always booked while staying here in the past, the room that we have received is a small dark 3 bedroom unit with filthy furniture that you don’t want to sit on. there’s an old coffee table that is dangerous, I hit my toe and ripped skin off and the smallest tv I have ever seen, For a so called 3 bedroom sky home our room is in tower 2 room 3503. all previous stays here have been very good which I have left reviews here on trip advisor, after walking in the room I knew straight away this is not what I have booked, I went down to reception and let them know about the room is not a sky home and he said it was and that all Sky homes are the same. I told him I have been staying here for the last 5 years and have never received this type of room before, I am really disappointed as you pay a lot of money and looking forward all year to come back and this happens.I won’t be back so please be aware of what you book and pay for.

I am sorry that the layout and condition of the 3 Bedroom Skyhome was not up to your expectations based on your previous stays at the property. There are a number of different layouts for all of our apartments across both Towers and I do understand that configurations work well or are preferred by different guests. After reading recent reviews I had some concerns about staying at Peppers, but our experience was great. The 2 bedroom apartment on the 11th floor was clean and well equipped, with great views. We used the gym and outdoor pool during our stay and even had a couple of games of pool in the lounge. The location is perfect, surrounded by great restaurants and it is an easy walk to everything. We have stayed at The Sofitel previously and enjoy the service, but if you want extra space, then Peppers Broadbeach is perfect. We will definitely stay again.

Disappointing, overpriced and run like an upmarket airbnb

This was such a disappointment and as I was leaving I understood why. This is not your conventional hotel as I discovered each apartment is privately owned and runs more like an upmarket Air BnB. Some items in the apartment were cheap rubbish and included laundry basket, toilet brushes to name a few. The apartment required attention to replace broken items and to touch up some paint work What was very interesting was that the apartment only provided servicing once a week. Teas coffees etc were not replaced. I was not happy and for $450 a night and no explanation was very poor. I did speak to management and I got a few basic service. The pool is partially obliterated from the sun which was annoying. Not to be deterred I decided to go in search of the indoor pool as advertised but it was not to be. Ended up paying to swim indoors All in al I felt ripped off

There are a number of rate options offered to our guests at the time of booking for room servicing, these range from weekly to daily servicing and I am sorry if the explanation of the housekeeping schedules was unclear and I am pleased that we were able to assist you during your stay following your query. I am sorry that you were of the impression that there was an indoor pool at the property, if you could please let me know where this is incorrectly advertised I will have it removed immediately to avoid any further confusion for our guests and I apologise for your inconvenience of having to locate an alternative pool. Stayed here for a few nights. When booking I asked for a room the had ocean view and a room that was higher up. Was told can definitely accommodate this. I needed up with a room on level 4 that over looked the pool and street! Was loud by the pool and no privacy unless blinds were closed. Fridge smelt really bad. Had to clean fridge before use. Lifts always not working. Takes a long time to get to level 4! Although the bed was semi comfortable the overall stay felt average and not enjoyable.

I am sorry to read that you were disappointed that the your request for a high floor with an ocean view was unable to be met on this occasion due to high occupancies at the property over the dates of your stay. Peppers Broadbeach does offer numerous room types which each have varying layouts and views, therefore to secure one's preferred room it is always advisable to book that room type if it is available at time of reservation as we do not want any of our guests to leave the property disappointed. Following a rooftop flood which affected all lifts we have been continuously working with our lift contractors to restore all 4 lifts to full operation and I apologise for any inconvenience that you incurred due to lengthened travel times, we now have 3 of the 4 lifts reinstated and are close to having the 4th reinstated. I appreciate you sharing your comments rhysie1991 and it is my hope that you will give my Team and I the opportunity to welcome you back to Peppers Broadbeach in the future to create some better memories for you.
