Hubby and I went for our wedding anniversary and have been a few times over the years. Have to say we won't be going back. For what you pay, you would expect high end luxury and what we got was an outdated resort clearly cost cutting or going broke. The best part is the location and that's it. Some specifics to paint a picture...rooms are outdated and run down. We couldn't find a USB port anywhere, we watched some night time television on a TV slightly bigger than my lap top screen. The TV in the bedroom had no casting or streaming service. The bath towels were an insult...small and so thin, we got pool towels hoping they were better but they were the same. We stayed for 3 nights and no room or house keeping services during that time. We had to go to Peppers next door for our buffet breakfast every morning. We also had to hire bikes from Peppers which we had to cut our ride short as my back tire kept going down and hubby's handle bars kept folding forward. The 'free' bikes looked like they came from the tip, an absolute joke. Most staff seemed friendly enough except upon checking out where the lady behind the desk instructed me to drop the room key in the box as she looked at her computer screen. Couldn't even be bothered to look up. Mantra on Salt always held good memories for us but the whole place including the tavern, felt like it had been completely let go. For what we paid, we got a very disappointing experience. We will be investing our money elsewhere in future.

I recently stayed for ten nights in a pool view one-bedroom suite, plus a hotel room, with another couple. I’d only rate this accommodation a three out of five because the rooms weren’t in the best shape. It would be great if some money could be spent on these rooms to bring them up to standard. I’ve stayed there several times before, and nothing has changed with the rooms in the last five years. The bathroom vanities are tired, swollen and look like they’ve been damaged by water. The showers are dated and not very appealing. They could really use an upgrade to modern accessories, like new showerheads.

The lobby and pool areas are lovely but the rooms are disappointing. We paid extra for an ocean view room. Room was small and ocean was somewhere in the far distant horizon. We moved to a larger room with no view at our expense but in both rooms the bathroom is literally in the bedroom. The only thing separating bathroom sounds are timber slats with no glass and the door is just slats as well. Towels are threadbare with holes. If you or your partner awake or go to sleep at different times, having your bathroom in the bedroom affords no privacy. Apparently, all rooms have similar bathroom set-ups. Breakfast is served at another hotel a few minutes walk away. Would never go back.

Absolutely loved our stay here ! Our ocean/ pool view room with spa was great , spacious, comfortable bed and pillows and very well equipped kitchen. Location was great close to beach and some great restaurants nearby , we can’t wait to go back .

Schitterende ruime kamer/suite met groot balkon en werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien. Wel erg groot complex, maar niets geen overlast van wat of wie dan ook. Goede geruisloze klimaatbeheersing dmv airco en fan in slaapkamer.Heerlijk bed. Fijne ruime badkamer. Diverse eetgelegenheden en winkeltjes op het terrein. Strand op loopafstand. Supersnel internet (tegen betaling). Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Een fijne plek voor langer verblijf.De suites met eigen kookgelegenheid worden om de 4/5 dagen schoongemaakt en aangevuld met koffie/thee/toiletartikelen. 1 handdoek per persoon was wat weinig. 2 zou fijn geweest zijn zoals in de meeste hotels, juist omdat de service niet dagelijks is.
