The Hotel lost our booking. The room was surprisingly filthy; I would not rate the cleanliness more than 5/10 and was extremely dusty for those allergy sufferers. The shower and dishwasher both leaked flooding the floors, and the springs in the beds were horrendous, so much so we had to double over towels on the bed to be able to sleep, as we ended-up with bruises. I was really shocked at how poor quality the hotel was for the price. It certainly didn't ruin my experience though, just something to remember next time I go to Kingscliff; to stay somewhere else.

Resort Room 2304 at Gunnamatta Ave- owner cancelled 4 days prior to stay!!! What a low act! Sep. 2022 • Family 4 days before the start of our 2 week stay (September 24, 2022 to Sunday 9), the owners cancelled our booking! We booked in February 2022, and the owner accepted my deposit, accepted my final full payment and left me to find my own accommodation 4 days out when everything is booked out and/or gone up! I last received confirmation of our booking on September 18, 2022, noting we look forward to you staying with us. What is very stressful, is that I have a wife and 3 sons that I had to tell today, that we are not going away, that we don't have anywhere to stay, that we are not having our family holiday! I have all the correspondence with Corporate Boardies, to show all the communication. The person calling from corporate boardies to inform us, did apologised and noted they could not find any alternate option for us. Our family have been holidaying in Kingscliff for 15 years. I have no issue with the owner cancelling, however what I have issue with is 4 days notice!!! No consequence for the owner. I STRONGLY suggest you avoid any bookings for Resort Room 2304 at Gunnamatta Ave - Mantra on Salt, Kingscliff. Ironically to complete this review I had to select the month of stay September. Apologies I couldn't attach any photos of the room to share!

No room cleaning. Could I get your room cleaned after an eight nights stay the carpet stank I was told that towels were complementary since when has personal hygiene. Been an option dreadful don’t stay there I would’ve expected to see a manager, but nobody came near me even after I spoke to one of the junior staff members who tried to help, but nobody came. It was the junior staff member who listened to all of my concerns.

great location, no food an issue, whilst we could go across the street to Peppers for breakfast and bistro meal it really wasn't good enough for a hotel that I would normally stay at. This might put me off going to the Mantra again, not sure. The bike path along the beach and surrounded by bushland is stunning.

Schitterende ruime kamer/suite met groot balkon en werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien. Wel erg groot complex, maar niets geen overlast van wat of wie dan ook. Goede geruisloze klimaatbeheersing dmv airco en fan in slaapkamer.Heerlijk bed. Fijne ruime badkamer. Diverse eetgelegenheden en winkeltjes op het terrein. Strand op loopafstand. Supersnel internet (tegen betaling). Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Een fijne plek voor langer verblijf.De suites met eigen kookgelegenheid worden om de 4/5 dagen schoongemaakt en aangevuld met koffie/thee/toiletartikelen. 1 handdoek per persoon was wat weinig. 2 zou fijn geweest zijn zoals in de meeste hotels, juist omdat de service niet dagelijks is.
