We always enjoy our stay at Mantra Kingscliff. On this occasion the reception staff were not attentive or engaging. Making eye contact would make the customer feel welcome. Instead the person was looking elsewhere when checking us in. It was very transactional.

The resort is well located, and there were plenty of options to eat and drink. The gym had adequate equipment for a brief workout. The room was quite tired and in need of renovation. The vanity in the bathroom had considerable water damage, and the shower had seen better days. But the bed was comfy and the air con worked, which were essential on a hot day!
