Well first the good things; the location is the best spot in the whole area, right bang on the most beautiful section of the coast looking into the pine trees and the ocean rocks, being able to watch the waves crash on the rocks and beach, the sunrise and sunset, the colours of the sky it's gorgeous, also the people watching and movement there is always some thing going on, it's fantastic really the best location to access the walking and cycling paths. Also the mantra is connected through the lobby to the coles shopping complex, this is unreal and convenient at all times every day. The car parking underneath is free and plentiful and spacious for all vehicle types and secure. The reception/lobby is large and open very resort style and nicely done, the girls at reception are also professional, friendly and helpful and flexible , great service thank you.That's where the good stuff ends.The lifts are not operating in full when hotel was fully booked, long waits at all directions. The apartments are all individually owned this is a recipe for disaster as the hotels booking system and the staff will not tell you which apartments are lovely and clean and nice and new its up to the gods to get one of those or else you end up in the old worn out out dated apartment, and being an accor member does not influence this at all.  This kind of business model is hopefully on the way out , all owners should be pressured to update the apartments as required to maintain the standard across the whole building.To be specific the bottom of the doors are warped and worn with pieces broken off, the tiling is from another age and needs to go, any potential the rooms have is lost in the ancient floor coverings- gross and filthy, the old air con system, they need ceiling fans throughout this is QLD after all???? right its never cold???? The furniture is really horrible  we cannot believe that they allow all these aspects to continue making money from people, the lounge/coffee table/tv unit all bad.The kitchen stools and bench are new all ok but the fridge which is a mini fridge no real feezer , no oven , no cooktop, there is a limited use microwave not a fancy one.Balcony chairs and tables all ok. Front loader washing machine ok.This property misses out on the opportunity to be the special one on the strip, plenty of gardens and outdoor space , great rooftop area really special but the accomodation is unacceptable. The TV is hideous, get rid of it and connect foxtel for all guests FOC even basic motels on the bruce highway offer this.We would like to return BUT ONLY AFTER A FULL REFURB that can be verified before booking.

Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer. Es war alles sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Die Lage war sehr gut und man kann sehr gut essen in der Umgebung. Wir können das Mantra jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

Gutes Hotel um ein paar Tage nach der Rundreise auszuspannen

Tolles Apartment mit Schlafraum, netten Bad und großem Wohnraum. Eigentlch versuchten wir in den oberen Etage wegen des Blicks übers Meer ein Zimmer zu kommen, hatten dann aber eines auf der Ebene des Pools bekommen. Das war auch mehr als okay, weil wir damit eine Art "Terasse" statt Balkon hatten. Man hat von hier alles in der Nähe was man braucht; die Promande vor der Tür, zum Strand wenige Meter ... Ich würde wieder kommen !

es ist gut, wenn man ein Haus seit der Entstehung kennt, das schon über 10 Jahre her ist, man immer mal wieder hier gewohnt hat und sich nicht viel verändert hat. So verhält es sich mit dem Mantra in Mooloolaba ohne Einschränkung. Klar, wir werden alle nicht jünger, aber wenn was nicht mehr so richtig schön ist, dann kommt es darauf an, dass das Management etwas tut. Die Lage ist schön und man sollte nicht mit dem Vorurteil herangehen, dass es ein riesiger Kasten ist. Inzwischen ist an der Esplanade in Mooloolaba wirklich nur noch eine Baulücke, wo bis Ende 2012 ein neues Apartmenthotel entsteht. Diese Baustelle ist aber nicht direkt nebenan! Preislich kann man hier oft ein Schnäppchen machen, weil Mantra ein zentrales Marketing mit vielen Sonderaktionspreisen macht.

Ich habe schon oft in einem Apartment des Mooloolaba Beach Resorts gewohnt und meine Kunden schicke ich auch immer dort hin. Man darf sich nicht von dem Foto, das man findet abschrecken lassen. Ja, es ist ein großer Kasten und manchmal denke ich wehmütig an die Zeit zurück, wo hier noch ein alter australischer Pub stand. Die Apartments sind sehr schön, der Supermarkt ist direkt im Haus, Parkplätze gibt es, ein Outdorpool und auch einer im Gebäude ist super. Dann blickt man vom Balkon direkt auf die Beach. Im Apartment hat man - wie in Australien üblich - Waschmaschine und Trockner, großen Kühlschrank und Kochmöglichkeit. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und die Umgebung stimmt auch. Wichtig ist noch, das es eine Tagestour nach Fraser Island gibt, die jeden Morgen am Hotel abholt..
