Incredibly disappointing

I am a platinum Accor member and regularly stay at Accor hotels. I rely on a certain level of quality. I stayed in room 311. It is a 3 bedroom unit. There is a tiny outdoor table. There was no jug for water. It is shabby and looks beyond dated. It looks stained and dirty. The doors are dirty. The storage cupboard looks filthy. . Someone recently washed the curtains, notable as they were crumpled. My parents have stayed here before and commented that there are better units. It would be good for the hotel to be able to ensure a more even standard across rooms. Perhaps there should be variable prices based on room rating. This has really shaken my confidence in the brand. The best part was the highly professional ladies at the front desk. They were lovely. Unfortunately the disappointing appearance of the unit overshadows the whole resort.

It’s like a maze

Stayed one night to scatter my husband’s ashes at Alexandra Headland. Paid days in advance. On arrival I was told $200 will be taken from my credit card as a “hold” until the keys are returned. Thanks and welcome to Queensland. It might be informative to tell guests before booking or at least put it in your description with ACCOR. I was told the pest control man will service the room after departure, he turned up about 0800 while I was packing up. The complex is a number of joined buildings with inadequate signage. Try finding your building will get your 10,000 steps up. Asking where to eat dinner out, I was told to get takeout delivered. Upon opening the unit door I was hit with the smell of toilet. The complex is close to the beach and surf club with undercover parking. Upon departure I enquired can you release my $200 please as I handed back the keys. I was told this takes FOURTEEN DAYS and depends upon what housekeeping reports back about your room. My $200 is yet to be returned.

Let down by necessary upgrading of facility with construction works Good location Clean place but need plenty of work in bathrooms, bath basin with shower not suitable for disability needs. Soap dispensers in toilets to wash hands would be great to implement since infections are on the rise. Emptying of bins daily with replacing amenities would be great Would come again if little changes are sort

A central location, beach so close, will stay again, even with no children Staff just so helpful, pool a highlight for children and playground well used. The curtains needed replacing in our units, otherwise excellent stay.
