Location and air conditioning were good

The location is very central to Port Douglas and easy to walk anywhere from the apartment. Apartment air conditioning was excellent. I didn’t enjoy the pool due to the lack of parenting related to constant running, jumping, bombing etc from kids and wish I had read past reviews of a similar vein before booking. A minor issue which could easily be fixed is the rather limited number of towels allocated for the stay (one per person) which in such a hot area seems lean and most places in the area have additional pool towels available at the pool. After a day or two snorkelling my pool towel wasn’t good. The rubbish bins in the hallway weren’t always emptied and rubbish on the floor often just stayed there. Reception staff seemed to be quite relaxed so perhaps they could be responsible for monitoring the pool behaviour, checking where cleaners might be needed and or storing pool towels.

.Decking around the pool very slippery when wet. Which is ridiculous why you would put down that in a wet area. We stayed in hotel style room with bed and sink only. Would not recommend if staying more than 2 nights. We stayed 6 nights needed more space (our fault). Position is great as walking distance to everything.

Perfect location right in the middle of Port Douglas but once inside the resort you would never know you just stepped off the main street. Our apartment was nice and roomy with a good layout and amenities it was also nice and clean although, it would have been nice if the staff swept the stepping pavers and the edge around the pool, it hadn't been done before we arrived nor was it done during our 4-night stay. My big frustration and the couples in the adjoining apartments shared our frustration that was unfortunately parents of children who don't parent, none of us had any problem with kids being kids and yelling and screaming running and jumping and doing bombs into the pools but when this goes on and on hour after hour with the same group of unsupervised children, we all felt that managment should have stepped in and reminded the offending familys that if they choose to stay they should within reason adhere to the rules clearly and posted multiple places around the pool areas, thankfully after a couple of days they moved on and peace and order and normal children could make everyone's lifes happy again.

Great location to the town centre yet very quiet.Large apartment clean with all you need... but bit dated.The lower pool area outside 2105 apartment was very dirty. Furniture covered in bird droppings and debrie off the trees . Would be heloful if staff monitored behaviours around pool in relation to their"conditions of use of pool"we had a few issues sadly.

Stayed for seven nights. Read the reviews and was a little worried though couldn’t be happier with everything from the room to the extremely helpful staff. A special shoutout to Nicholas, Paula and all their colleagues. Looking forward to visiting again.
