Terrible room, windows so dirty u can't see out, smelt really bad, broken cupboards, broken power points, TV wouldn't work and had no channels.. Very poor quality and reception only staffed 1 and wait time was 15mins, and just needed to collect bags, Room wasn't ready

Stayed for business, reasonable rate but room was super dusty: room corners, skirting boards, air conditioning unit and lamps all caked in dust, would not recommend if you have allergies. Bathroom tiles were mouldy, was like a share bathroom not a hotel, would not recommend taking a bath unless you want to risk an infection. Asked for room to be cleaned on the first day, but didn't make a difference. Mantra are typically good but other things like a water saving shower head, 1 ply toilet paper, stained carpets, basic TV, unsecure WIFI, no DVD player (which is listed) and kettle which didn't auto turn off (the list goes on) made the whole stay very underwhelming. Was a shame as the images online looked really nice, sad that it hasn’t been maintained. Wouldn't recommend.

Will stay here again.

The staff were absolutely amazing and extremely friendly. Our apartment was clean and tidy. Free treats were a lovely surprise. Rooms were extremely quiet, never heard any noises except a little street noise throughout the day like cars honking their horn etc. Rooms were spacious and the heater worked extremely well thank goodness. Only little negatives were their kitchen drawers could use fixing, the little freezer compartment in the fridge needs cleaning (defrosting to get the ice build up off) and the bedroom light switch was hard to click on. Wifi was great. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were like staying in an inner city apartment with all inclusion in great working order, and the location was superb - being near to shopping, dining and theatres (as well as public transport close by). Late night check in was easy and rooms were clean and well maintained - they even had a lovely welcome note with some complementary water and treats for us, which was well received after a day's travel and work.

If you want something cheap and very nasty but in the centre of CBD, this is probably the best bet.

The room is an absolute wreck: carpet looks 15 years old, wall looks faded, aircon looks like 20 years old and can't keep you warm. The room layout is strange as well, when you open the door there is a long narrow corridor to open living space. Power plugs are out of date for 10 years, no USB charger port. WIFI extremely slow. The bath room is a good size but the again very outdated. The shower is combined with a tub making it a major slip and trip hazard. Taking a shower is a torture the water is either too hot or cold. You wind up wasting a ton of time getting the water temperature right and wasting a whole lot of energy and water during the process. Minimal service as the hotel expect you to do everything yourself have remember some code to leave the building after 8pm and the check out process is just strange where you must leave your card in the room if checking out before 8 am. If you forgot something, you are screwed because there is no way of getting back up and there is no one at the front to help you. It's as if they can't afford to have staff at the front desk. Staff very rude. My colleague got yelled at for not complying with check out procedure.
