Sadly, it was a very quick visit to this classy hotel in the centre of the city with only one night stay. Street frontage with reception on the 3rd floor. Nice welcome and a lovely lobby area. Check-in was rapid and friendly. Nice room and very quiet. I was here for business and the desk lighting was excellent with a large desk area to work on. Could not be any more convenient in terms of location and a very comfortable environment.

Kids stay for free. Great family and business meetings hotel.

A 4.5 star Accors Hotel situated in the heart of CBD Melbourne. Kids stay for free. Fab theatres, art, restaurants & cafes close by, as well as boutique shops. Very clean, spacious rooms. Lovely indoor heated pool. Good service. Happy staff

Your standards need to increase. I was called a faggot by a guest and valet protected the guest and told me to leave. After the guest in question ran a red light and did an illegal you turn. I made a complaint to management and have not heard back. Clearly this hotel supports homophobia. I have the time, money & resources to peruse this further for both the guest and hotel. If you are LGBTI + I suggest you stay away from this establishment.

As always, great accommodation. Service was outstanding. Room was clean, comfortable and nice and quiet too. Room service prompt and great food. Breakfast a winner too. Excellent value for money with a CBD location that’s hard to beat. Highly recommend Novotel on Collins.

The soap dispenser in the bathroom was right above the outlet, which made it nerve wrecking for me to push the dispenser as I was afraid soap would get in the outlet. I don't think there was a phone available and we were told to email them or go to the front desk and explain our needs.
