Tired & needs a renovation

Very disappointing. The apartment was tired & needs a renovation. The couch could do with a steam clean, smelt stuffy. Blankets need to be washed. Clothes dryer was not working. Just not worth what we paid. Could not get an extra car park yet they were not fully booked. Car park was virtually empty. I’m an ACCOR member & will be passing in my concerns as I would not like to see others waste their money. Plus was staff seemed friendly & good position. However I would not stay there again.

Stayed here over the weekend for a girls trip. When I first arrived to check in at 2pm, I was told the room wasn't ready. Tamara at front reception was wonderful and super accommodating. She was able to swap us to a room that was ready, as well as adding a second carpark to our booking. The room was an anti-climax. We stayed in a 3 bedroom ocean view. The room was very dated and dirty. There were marks all over the walls, the couch was stained everywhere (we had to put blankets down just to feel safe sitting on it), blinds were filthy and there was dust and hair on the tiles. The cupboards in the bedrooms smelt musty and were also filthy, the spare blankets in them looked like they'd been used by previous guests and not replaced. Between five of us, there was one toilet roll in each bathroom, one sachet of dishwashing powder, and one sachet of washing machine powder which was not enough. Beds weren't very comfortable. The TV is outdated. Negatives aside, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking appliances. The room had a good view of the ocean with nice big windows. The amenities were great, with an indoor and an outdoor pool to choose from, gym, sauna and a barbecue area. The building is well positioned, close to everything. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again. The rooms desperately need a refresh (and that couch belongs at the tip). The $1k for 2 nights price tag was far too expensive for the state of the room we got.

A very convenient location close to Pacific fair shopping centre and walkable to the beach. Check in was easy and staff really kind and helpful. We were a family with three small kids and two elderly parents, so enjoyed using the indoor pool and sauna in the building. Fully equipped kitchen, which was very handy in making family meals. The only issue was the room felt a bit dated and not very clean. The sofa cushions and carpet were dusty, we even spotted some bugs in the carpet.

We had a perfect 3 day stay. Beautiful apt, furnished beautifully, lovely decor, spotlessly clean, great views over the hinterland. Great reception. Joshua and Tamara were so helpful, couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The location is perfect. Pacific Fair, shops, restaurants, cafes for good coffee, light rail, beach - all 5 minute walk away. Mantra facilities are wonderful - pool, steam room, sauna, lounge, internet area and all spotless and smelling fabulous. Check in and departure were easy and as before Joshua and TAmara were excellent. Makes us want to return.

Mooie ruime kamers met alles erop en eraan. Perfect schoon! Heerlijke bedden en vriendelijk personeel. Als enige minpunt moet ik noemen dat er geen gratis wifi is. Wij zijn daarvoor naar het naastgelegen winkelcentrum gegaan. Prima zwembad en mooie parkeer gelegenheid onder het hotel!
