Very clean and tidy rooms that are a decent size with close walking distance to everything and Public Transport is right at the doorstep. The staff are easy to talk too polite and friendly. I give the Mantra Southbank a AAA+ rating and would not hesitate to stay again.

No compassion

These people have no compassion. I had booked a non refundable room and when circumstances outside of my control happened they refused to help me even with a credit voucher I will never give them my business now, they clearly only care about money

I enjoyed my stay, however, not much variety with the TV channels so I made use of the hotel wifi. I was grateful that the laundry and kitchen appliances were working perfectly. I would recommend this hotel for those that would love a quiet and peaceful surrounding that's closer to the south bank parkland.

Hotel staff Went above and beyond to make our first hotel stay together special. As part of our hotels, stay bucket list was ordering room service unfortunately this took two hours to receive and when we finally received it, it was cold and tasteless.

The staff at the Mantra South Bank are some of the friendliest, most inviting, and most accommodating hotel staff I've experienced. They helped us with various transitions and luggage storage during our stay and provided recommendations around town. Unfortunately, our rooming situation wasn't the same caliber of excellence as the staff. While we weren't in the hotel that much during the day, it was disappointing when we needed it to relax. The first night, the fire sprinkler in the master bedroom started leaking. We quickly packed up and switched rooms. However, the accommodations were much smaller than our original suite. It wouldn't have been an issue, except the traffic from outside was quite loud, and the light shone in our room all night. Again, the staff was extremely accommodating and provided us with refreshments to apologize for the inconvenience. After that horrible night of sleep, they allowed us to return to the original room. While the staff did everything they could, it did not make up for the black mold in our shower, fruit flies throughout the bathroom, and the lack of soap. While the facilities were fine for what we needed, this hotel needs a major overhaul and a deep clean.
