Staff are great, friendly and helpful. I also love the business facilities, they are brilliant. We stay here quite often, and it is consistently good. Welcoming, friendly and a convenient location with some great dining options within walking distance.

The bathrooms smell - a mix of dampness and sewahas bothered respondingge from Bali. Loud, so slow at checkin my hair grew and very noisy. No table lamps, no tv in main room and it needs a good clean. Allow a good 5 mins to get from your room to the lobby if you are using the lift. I can't believe how many complaints are on here saying the same thing and NO ONE from Peppers Management has bothered responding- says it all!

If you want basic & dirty go here - if you want lovely accomm this is not the place for you - VERY disappointing !!!

BIG RED FLAGS!!…the accommodation I received was far from the images that appear on the Accor website, this false advertising should be illegal. FV Peppers shares the building with private “Tenants” which made waiting for the lifts unbearable and quite disgusting with the amount of Tenants & Dogs in & out of the lifts - one lift had dog wee in it !! FV Peppers unfortunately is situated in a very scummy part of Fortitude Valley & it showed both in Reception & lift well. Our Check-In wait took 30 mins!!! Very basic worn accommodation at $500 a night! Noise level from the street was unbelievably loud - even with all windows closed - and more so at night. Cleanliness a lot to be desired - rug was actually totally disgusting. At $500 a night having a bedroom with no window or natural light is beyond words - that cave of a bedroom should never have been approved - to have to a light on during the day felt like you were in a submarine. Oddly there was points for a TV in the Main bedroom but no TV. In main bedroom there were no Bedside lighting - how is that even possible that there wouldn’t be bedside lamps. Strong sewage smell from toilets & showers. Stay was so disappointing - I will be advising friends & colleagues to never stay at FV Peppers.

Getting into my room at this hotel was one of the most frustrating hospitality experiences I have had. Arriving at the building, which seems to be a shared apartment/hotel, I spent 10 minutes waiting at reception before concluding no one was coming. I looked outside where I found a confusing sign explaining how to call reception. The instructions didn't work. So I looked up the direct phone number and called it. This seemed to work, because I got a message with three options, one of which was reception. When I chose that, the phone rang 7 times and disconnected. I repeated this several times. I eventually asked one of the permanent residents if he knew how to get to reception. He explained that I had to go to the main reception in a different building (confused visitors seemed to be a common experience). So I went there and after waiting in a long line, I got to the front where they gave me a card with a fob attached to it. I went back to the building and pushed 11 in the elevator, only that didn't work because although my room number began with 11, it was on the 13th floor. Arriving at my room, I again tried the fob. It didn't work. I went back to reception who explained that instead of using the fob, I should have used the separate card. - Why didn't you tell me?? I get it. You're trying to save costs by creating a hotel in an apartment building. But if you're going to create such a hellaciously complicated system, can you provide some instructions, like a sign on the door that the reception is is in a different building??

They dont really care, it isnt a Peppers that I know

Building is underlifted (not hotels fault, design in fact) meaning long wait times for crowded elevators. Airconditioning failed in Brisbane hot summers day, moved room and that aircon wasn't working 30 degree day BTW, left to go to another Accor hotel but Peppers still charged me for the night. Check in was dismissive I was told a duty manager would call me..........nothing. The front office check out did what she could I must give her that. Arrived at Pullman very different story for same price.
