We had the best experience at FV Brisbane by Peppers in Fortitude Valley. The rooms were amazing, the living room area was very convenient. We went for the first time as a family of 4, with my then 9 month old and 7 year old daughters. Baby was provided with a cot upon request and the 2 bedroom apartment was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was very well equipped, which made us want to get cooking. The washing machine and dryer were very handy with a baby traveling with it. It was a very safe place and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ended up extending our 4 night stay to a 5 night stay. Also, the view was breathtaking. We were very happy to be staying at such a wonderful place for our family.

Poor Service, Unclean, Overcharged.

We booked and paid for a one bedroom apartment. The service was poor, we were not offered any assistance with our luggage, and the staff argued with us for not having government issued ID to check in. We paid $209 for the apartment. Apartment was unclean - the floor was dirty and soaps in the bathroom were empty. When checking out the staff took time to finish their chit chat before serving us. Then they tried to charge us additional fees because they had ‘accidentally’ upgraded us to a two bedroom apartment. I told them we would not be paying for a second bedroom that we didn’t use or need. Positives were good views and central location.

Providing government issued ID at check-in is a mandatory part of our check-in process, in line with our policies to help prevent fraudulent activity and ensure the safety and security of all guests. Our team upgraded you to a two-bedroom apartment in good faith due to availability, but you should not have been asked to pay extra for a room type you didn’t book or request. When arriving at reception, gave meal ideas of Mexican next door. Great idea! Go to go to pool, 6pm, lift wouldn’t go there! Luckily 🍀 they had a shower! Them tried ringing the Mexican restaurant, no answer?????? So go to reception! They tell me again restaurant just next door 🚪 assuming I will eat there! Closed! Luckily 🍀 there was a 7/11 I could buy some milk & water 💦 I thought if I asked at reception they Might give me a small milk for coffee ☕️ 😂 obviously not 🙄 So sitting in wonderful Brisbane 🏖️ Watching tv 📺 7pm! Pool closed, restaurant closed 🤔 I was thinking I had more fun in Thailand What’s the point paying $800 To watch tv 📺 Luckily 🍀 I had a muffin from airport for dinner 🥘 Could of stayed at a Backpackers 😂 They usually have a pool & open restaurants in the street! And you wonder why people go to Bali 🏖️

Regarding the pool, I’d like to clarify that it was open during your stay, but access does require using a different set of lifts which we do point out during check in. I apologise if that wasn’t made clear enough at the time. As for local dining options, we’re always happy to recommend nearby restaurants, though we don’t always have access to their operating hours. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this caused and understand how frustrating it must have been. Was allocated an accessible room, not sure why. There were no bedside tables, which was frustrating as I had to put everything on the floor. The lounge was small and felt cramped with the furniture. The bathroom was large and included a built in seat and shower curtain. The shower head had a mind of its own, difficult yo adjust the direction and sprayed water on the towels that were placed on the seat. There was no remote control for either of the TV’s. (Lounge or bedroom) I had to request a remote from Reception, who delivered within 10 minutes. Room faced the Main Street and construction site. The windows are double glazed.
