i have really enjoyed staying at the rixos because it’s fun for all of the family! We really liked rixy kids club! with amazing activities and really great staff a big thankyou to ALAA and NATALIA! who looked after us amazingly throughout our stay! they were very fun caring and friendly! i really enjoyed the xmas party on xmas day it was amazing!! with popcorn machines to painting ornaments to santa coming on a golf buggy! very large hotel! they make a lot of effort for xmas decorating the lobby, carol service, hot chocolate and more! NATALIA and ALAA looked after us at rixy kids club doing fun activities with us and playing! we loved going to rixy kids club daily with different activities to do everyday with the amazing staff (NATALIA and ALAA)

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Zero Customer Service and Absurd Policies

We had friends visiting from London who were staying at the hotel, and I came with my two daughters to meet them for a couple of hours. Arriving at 2:30 PM, we simply wanted to have lunch together but were told the main restaurant by the pool wasn’t accessible to external guests. Instead, we were offered AED 1099 per person for a full-day pass, despite only planning to stay for two hours. Our requests for flexibility—given our friends had three rooms booked—and our willingness to pay for lunch and reduced fees for the children were dismissed. The staff were inflexible, dismissive, and borderline rude. Eventually, they came back with an absurd offer: AED 1500 for my daughters to use the pool for one hour. Having traveled two hours to see their friends, I had no choice but to accept. However, I was then charged AED 1640 because they claimed they couldn’t process the reduced payment. Adding to this, my husband and his 85yr grandma, who came to pick us up, were told they could only have tea in the lobby if they spent AED 500 per person! Frustrated, we left and went to the Park Hyatt next door, where we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a lovely lunch and tea without unnecessary drama. As a long-time loyal Rixos customer, who stayed at Rixos in multiple locations for years, I was shocked by this experience. The lack of respect and basic hospitality was appalling. This has ensured I will never return to a Rixos property again. Rixos, it’s time to seriously review your policies. They are not only unfit for purpose but also alienating loyal customers. You’ve lost me as a client forever.

Your loyalty to Rixos is highly valued, and we are sorry to hear that this experience has led to your decision to no longer stay with us. To clarify the situation regarding our external guest policy, we do have a daily fee of AED 1095 per person for external guests wishing to use the facilities. For children under 6 years of age, the fee is reduced by 50%. As a gesture of understanding, given that you arrived just three hours before the facilities closed, we made an exception for you and your family. We charged AED 1095 for your adult daughter and yourself, and AED 600 for your younger child, which we hope helped accommodate your visit. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the miscommunication regarding the charges and the inflexibility you experienced during your time with us. We always aim to offer our guests the highest level of service and hospitality, and we regret that this was not reflected in your experience. Rest assured, we will be reviewing our policies and staff training to ensure we can provide better service to our valued guests in the future. Once again, we apologize for any disappointment this visit may have caused, and we truly hope that you might consider giving Rixos another opportunity in the future. Just returned from an 8 night stay at Rixos , had a amazing time, staff were all very friendly and a special mention to Dona who delt with our request professionally .The food in the a la cart restaurants was excellent, would highly recommend this hotel

We really did have a great time at the hotel. From check in to leaving. The reception staff were really very helpful and explained everything to us. We arrived early and our room was not ready but this was not a problem we just enjoyed our time until the room was available. We had booked 12 nights in a sea view room and it was great - we were on the 5th floor so had a fab view. The room was very well maintained and it was fun to get back each day to see my next towel animal. Our room attendant was amazing and the room was very well kept. As we were there for 12 nights we were allowed to use the a la carte restaurant 6 times and had no problem booking any of them - the booking staff were excellent. All the restaurants were so good and it was fun in the Greek restaurant when they did the plate smashing - all the children in the restaurant had a great time. The buffet was also good - there was always something good to eat. We also ate at the Peoples restaurant at lunchtime and that was really nice and a good choice. We really liked the idea of whatever restaurant you ate in there was some one singing - it was a nice touch. The bar outside in the evening where the main entertainment could get busy but you could usually get a seat. The only one thing I would say is the entertainment did not start until 2115 and it might have been nice to start a bit earlier so around 2030. There were a lot of children in the hotel when we were there but they were mostly well behaved and just enjoying themselves. The pool area was really good and they chap looking after the towels and beds could not have been more helpful as were the waiting staff who wizzed around on roller blades. The beach was equally well maintained and its great to get a drink so quickly from the staff as soon as you pressed the button there was someone there We had a fab relaxing 12 nights and would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.
