We had previously stayed in a one bedroom apartment at Aparthotel Adagio and found it to be very spacious. As our daughter was travelling with us this time I booked the same after checking with the property that an extra bed could go in the sitting room. Upon arrival it took reception staff a long time to allocate a key even though I had checked in online. On going to our apartment it became obvious that they did not have a one bedroom apartment as we had been allocated a studio without a separate bedroom and there was also no extra bed. It would have been too small for an extra bed but fortunately there was a door from the studio leading to a meeting room so a bed was brought up and put in there. It was not ideal for sleeping as the meeting room only had curtains on one set of windows and nets on the other but it was late and we were too tired after a long day to make a fuss. We managed but were disappointed to have paid for a one bedroom apartment and stayed in a studio. The property was in a good location near to a tram station and staff were friendly.

My partner and I were searching for a peaceful place with all the comforts, including a fully equipped kitchen and a nice room to relax in after a long day not too far from the city centre. This apartment hotel checked all the boxes. We were warmly welcomed by Steve and the receptionist upon our arrival, who provided great suggestions and advice about our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, allowing us to prepare great meals for a few evenings and relax in the living room afterwards. The bedroom and especially the bathroom were clean and comfortable. Although there were two smart TVs available, they had a locked system that only allowed access to 15 TV programs without the option to easily cast from a smartphone or laptop, including YouTube. Bit disappointed about this, which can easily be included. Overall, a great experience and definitely our go-to place in the future.

Well organised hotel with all round excellent customer service.

This is a well organised hotel with comfortable apartments. As I have family in Amsterdam, I need to be near to a tram line and a train station, which this hotel is! Staff at reception are very helpful and friendly. The flat was very spacious, clean and quiet. Two tips I would like to pass on to management: please add on more international tv channels (BBC 2, ITV, TV5 ...etc..), they are on the tv guide, but without access. Secondly, in room 1005 the ceiling showerhead needed descaling as water sprayed in all directions. I really enjoyed my stay and will rebook if I need to be in Amsterdam again.

great hotel, outside the centre

this is a great hotel, outside the centre, there is not a lot to do close by, apart from a couple of restaurants in other hotels in the area - there is a supermarket about 15 minute walk away other than that its great place to stay, friendly welcome by the staff, mini shop in the reception and our room and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our stay would stay again next time we are in Amsterdam
