Mercure Melbourne Doncaster

This is a lovely, classy hotel perched on top of Doncaster Hill with 360 degree views. Located across from the bustling Doncaster Westfield and with lots of great restaurants in the area. The staff are extremely friendly and can't do enough for you. There was a handwritten card in our room welcoming us. The rooms are lovely and modern. The facilities are great with a nice pool, gym and a lovely outdoor area for a drink looking across to the hills. The restaurant serves very nice and interesting meals and has a nice bar, with views to the city. The whole atmosphere of the place is great. I can't speak highly enough.

Fabulous staff great accomodation. Will definitely be my go to venue in future. Before we arrived staff were amazing and so helpful. Parking great. Accomodation outstanding. Only issue I would comment on is the bath in deluxe accomodation. Not everyone can hop in and out easily. No rail or place to hold on to and very hard to reach tap without being in bath . Having said this was a lovely bath. Need to think of older clientele too. Bay staff amazing. Great pool. Fabulous views . For domestic staff just check radio alarm not left on. Was not fun being woken at 1am then 7an]m and no idea how to turn it of !! Well done to all. You rock…..

My partner and I have stayed at Mercure Doncaster many times this year. My partner holds a Platinum Accor plus, each time we have stayed here the staff have been so knowledgeable of the loyalty program and welcome us as such. When ever available we are upgraded, which is always a nice suprise. This particular visit I went down stairs to the bar to use my complimentary drink vouchers and was pleasantly welcomed by the bartender, Jack. Jack was amazing, he k ew exactly what I could use with my voucher (which usually the staff are not). Jack was also so knowledgeable on the drinks at the bar. The hotel is lucky to have him as part of the team. Currently writing this while sitting in the nice bath in my room at the hotel

Really easy check in experience with well appointed rooms. For a Saturday it was not busy and we didn’t really see many people movements. King superior room was brilliant. Gym is possibly the best hotel workout I have ever experienced . Also has a nice heated indoor pool. Sumner time there is a great deck for drinks and look at the view. Breakfast was buffet style. Limited options but healthy and satisfying. Chefs are willing to cook anything for you too . Coffees are all barista made and again the views are to die for looking at the city . Location is next door to Doncaster shopping town which you walk to to watch a movie or get dinner . Can’t wait to go back

Had a very pleasant stay during Easter long weekend at this relatively new hotel. Loved the spacious room decor and the double beds. We enjoyed using the gym and the indoor heated pool. Both not huge but we’ll equipped. Did have a large outdoor al fresco area which would be great in warmer months. Customer service was friendly and accommodating, they allowed us a slightly later checkout which was appreciated. Will stay again.
