Bear_Wilson Friends getaway - TripAdvisor 인증 리뷰

A friend and I stayed one night while visiting the entertainment centre for a show. I was welcomed by two lovely staff on arrival. I checked into my kind ocean room which didn’t disappoint. Spacious, clean, modern and was equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Being mid week the roof top bar wasn’t open but is on the weekends. I took a swim up there in a small, yet refreshing, clean pool. Views from up there were amazing. While waiting for my friend to arrive I was able to purchase water from the vending machine located on our level until she arrived with some bubbles. We sat on the balcony (no smoking hotel) enjoying a drink with champagne glasses provided, stunning water views and sea breeze (no smoke from our neighbours). Once we returned from our concert very late we were able to order from multiple places via Uber eats. Which was awesome as we both shared a huge, comfortable king bed (pillows a little hard). With plates and cutlery we found in the Kitchenette while watching silly stuff on Foxtel. Little touches like facial tissues were provided. And amenities we all very eco friendly made from card board, refillable pumps and so on… I will definitely return, preferably for a longer time to make use of the beach, bay board walk and restaurants. The only let down was breakfast at the adjoining cafe. It’s a seperate identity to the Hotel, so I’ll leave my feedback on their site. Thank you The Sebel Margate for making our reunion so special and enjoyable. (Uber to entertainment just over $40 each way which was so convenient, and easy)

스텝들이 친절했으며 호텔 내부 1층에 있는 레스토랑의 조식이 좋았습니다. 다만 호텔과는 다른 영업장이라 아코르 식음료 할인은 안 된다고 하니 참고하세요! 바로 옆의 바닷가는 크진 않지만 산책로가 잘 되어 있고 예뻐요. 숙소 내부는 조리 시설은 없지만 간이 부엌이 있어서 테이크아웃 가져와서 먹기에 편리하게 되어 있어요.

Just regarding their proclaimed 'Happy Hour" The only beer on happy hour is a xxxx gold in the bar below & a bottle of xxxx gold on the deck above. This is almost an insult as other establishments on the Redcliffe peninsula offer so much more. A we don't care attitude

On arrival we were greeted with friendly professionalism, given our room a few hours earlier (bonus). We had the Deluxe King Room with a balcony and view direct to the ocean (perfect!!). The decor was great, comfy outdoor and indoor chairs, comfy bed and pillows. The bathroom was a good size with a very nice shower area. Water pressure could have been better, but okay for our 3 night stay. Good size wardrobes, shelves etc, good blackout curtains. The kitchenette was limited - microwave but no bowl to put things in (for small dinners). Even though we were only 2 of us - having exactly 2 of everything (glass, cup, bowl, plate, cutlery etc) was a bit dumb. Change of drink or different use for item meant we had to clean between uses - really? Rooftop pool was okay (just a lap pool really) and the bar was good when it was open (Friday and weekends). Nice view from the top when having a drink - lovely bar staff! Big downside - we used the balcony to sit outside on balmy nights - but every time we went back inside to top up a drink, go to the loo etc, the air con turned off - always had to go back, reset to right temp and air control. Really stupid and a pain in the neck every night. Twice we used the restaurant below - once for hot drinks (took 30 minutes to get them) and once for breakfast (took about the same time) and my scrambled eggs were cold on the outside, warm on the inside, ciabatta bread was toasted but soft. Hubby's breakfast was also not that hot. We didn't complain - didn't have time to wait another 30 or more minutes.

This was our third stay in the same room at this hotel. We love the spot overlooking Margate Beach in Moreton Bay. Quiet but with a busy view from the passing walkers with their dogs and the runners to the procession of aircraft into or out of Brisbane airport and the ships heading to or from the port of Brisbane. Ideally located close to Brisbane airport for an earlier departure avoiding the busy main roads further North. Close to the botanic gardens and to Redcliffe. Plenty to see and do within a short walk and a short drive. The hotel is very nice with free parking. Don't avoid Sunny's either although not operated by the hotel it is a great restaurant for all meals. Rooms well appointed and very comfortable. Drive across the wonderful Houghton Bridge to explore Sandgate or head to Chermside for a bit of retail therapy. MOst of all just enjoy the stay here. We recommend.
