One of, if not the best hotels ever that we have stayed in. Colonial designed like Raffles in Singapore. Sunshine and Selena have exceptional daily service at the pool bar. Pool access rooms + spa are exceptional. Highly recommended. Will return.

A wonderful hotel in the madness of Patong. We stayed two nights in our Thailand tour but would have happily stayed a week . The hotel has a colonial feel with a regal theme , reminded me of Raffles in Singapore , beautiful surroundings , the staff are superb, and the pool is amazing. We had a pool view not a pool access room. Each day at 3pm they offer complimentary Movenpick chocolates in reception which is lovely. The rooms are spacious and well presented in terms of size and facilities. The food is superb , breakfast is probably the best section I have ever seen in all my travels and I can highly recommend the brie with truffle cheese or the Mushroom Benedict with Truffle sauce. The hotel is fantastic value for money and you will not be disappointed .

My wife and I have been travelling to Phuket for around 15 years and this is our first stay at Movenpick. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The pool water was amazingly clean and cool. Very refreshing, especially during the happy hour 2-for-1 drinks. The rooms were clean and tidy and the King beds were huge. The range of breakfast was fabulous and fresh and the dinner deal (3 courses plus a glass of wine for around $40AUD) is the best value and quality food in Phuket. We highly recommend this restaurant. Overall, this is the best hotel we've stayed in. Although it's a bit more expensive than some other 5 star hotels in the area, Movenpick Myth will give you a better experience and comfortable stay. We love it! A special mention to Christophe (hotel General Manager) who took time out of his day to see and thank us for our patronage.

Poor staff attitude. Poor cleanliness. Lack of furnishings in the room

Stayed for 4 nights in the family suite which is for 2 adults and 2 children. The suite was under furnished with 1 chair and virtually no table. If you take back any food to the room to eat, be prepared to eat on the bed or on the floor. If you want to play any board games or have any activities with the family, you'd have to do it on the floor or on the bed. As such, we asked for a small table so we could eat/play board games only to be told there's no small table to be lent. After which we asked for 3 additional chairs so we could sit in the room. Guest services brought 1 up after 30 minutes and went ahead to bargain with us saying "no only one chair for you". After insisting we need 2 more chairs, he brought two more up with a face like thunder. The attitude is atrocious. On top of the fact that basically you need to do everything on the floor in the room with the family, the room has multiple cockroaches everyday. There's at least 2 a day that we found in the bathrooms. On checkout day, as we picked up our suitcases from the floor, cockroaches promptly scuttled out from under the suitcases. So if you play any board games with the kids on the floor (having no furnishing to play a board game on), be prepared to have additional participants in the form of cockroaches I'm not sure what is up with housekeeping as well, but on one of the days after they cleaned the room and we returned from walking, balloons were found all over the room. So overall, room was dirty. Staff attitude was terrible. Family Suite is not suitable for 2 adults with 2 kids due severe lack of furniture. What was good? Well, It's about 1.2km to Bangla street. So that's walkable. Slippers for the room were provided so at least we don't have to walk on the cockroach infested floor barefeet.
