As Seoul emerges from a cold wave, the hospitality at this establishment remains warm and sincere. Beyond it's luxurious facade, the staff exuded great professionalism. The ones who left a firm impression are: Concierge: Josh, Tara, Helia, James, Kimmy, Arthur, Rohan, Glenn, and Noah (the intern). Rooms Division/Front Office: Gina, Jae, Woody Son, Ethan Oh (who always responds promptly to emails), Kus, Donny Bae and Olivia. Housekeeping: I've only met Angie but the entire team is impeccable and extremely meticulous. LeSpace: I do not know their names but the team has enhanced their service standards and are friendlier and more approachable this time around. Guest Services: Annette, Regina, Sue and Jisoo. Guest Experience/So Mille Club: Sunny Park Jisun (who is a symbol of international hospitality standards), Joo-Hang Song (who is extremely guest-centric and conversational), Han-Ji, Andy, Aaron, Lina, Ginny, Evelyn, Cherie, and Ella. There are more new staff members who are very efficient. Culinary: I've only met Chef Mikhail, who's knowledge and banter on cuisines I deeply appreciate. Management: Ms. Minnie Cho, who is detail oriented and imposes very high standards on the way things are run. For instance, the bacon being overdone or a thread loose from my coat doesn't go unnoticed and she takes the effort to walk the talk and ensure the utmost comfort of every guest. Mr. Julient, who is meticulous in presentation and who is receptive to feedback and generous in his sharing of commute tips. Two major areas for enhancement are: 1. So Mille Club struggles to manage high breakfast traffic, even during weekdays. They need to jmpose stricter standards. Guests walking in 5 minutes before end time is unacceptable and should be directed elsewhere. Further, Club breakfast should only be accessible to premium members and club room guests should be directed to the main restaurant. Where the crowd is overwhelming, the service lapses. 2. The Accor Welcome Drink menu should not be separate from the main drink menu; perhaps just for non-alcoholic selection. It's ironic how members can redeem wine but denied Oriental tea. I checked in at Sofitel ambassador Seoul yesterday night past mid night. Leah Yang at the reception was super helpful and probided me all the knformation needed to make my stay comfortable. the best service i have got so far! keep it up Leah!!

We stayed in the family suite from nov 4 to the 8th. Could not have asked for a better location. The amenities were plenty, the staffs were absolutely fabulous, and food was great. If i’m being nit-picky, the only downside of this location is the annoyance of having the switch elevator from the rooms to the check-in lobby, and then to the ground floor.

As you mentioned, there are many attractive spots for tourists such as attractions, shopping areas and eateries surrounding Sofitel. Moreover, it is true we are very close to public transports, several bus stops and also next to two metro lines including the circular ones which is the best to discover the city. In regards to the elevators, we understand our structural division of elevators may cause our guest inconvenience. As you are already aware of, this is to ensure our guests’ safety and security from the public as we are in one wing of twin buildings while the other side is for retails where always are crowded with visitors in & out frequently. To minimize this confusion, we allocate as many staff as we could indeed to help and assist with our valuable guests and we will continue to devote our efforts to better serve our valued guests. The staff's service was friendly. I ordered eel rice bowl from room service and it was delicious. However, the city view was stuffy. It was not suitable for long-term stays.
