Hotel is in a good location, approx 300m from the nearest metro line, but not very close by walk to the main busy city areas you want to visit. Hotel itself is modern with good facilities. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room we booked was on the residence side, usually Accor members gold and above are automatically upgraded but we were not able to be on our stay as it was full. Our room was fairly small, especially the bathroom. Water purifier in the room was very welcomed so we were very hydrated. Breakfast was comprehensive, we didn’t eat at the dinner restaurants. My partner used the gym and sauna, he was happy with equipment available. We didn’t use either pools. Overall a good stay in Seoul

Very convenient if taking Airport Limousine bus from airport and dropping off right at this hotel. It would take 5-10 minutes of a walk to reach nearby Starbucks and a bunch of malls/shops/restaurants, which was not too far. Nearest metro access was near the hotel, but this exit was a flight of stairs, so seniors or kids might find it troublesome. Exit with an elevator was farther around the corner. Its facilities were excellent and well maintained. Elevators were plenty and sufficient all the time during my stay. The room was big and clean. There was a small café on the ground floor at reasonable price.

Check in was smooth. Service was great. Every one of the staff was courteous and helpful (with our luggages and enquiries). It was raining and there were umbrellas on loan. Housekeeping was superb as our room was in tiptop condition everyday when we return from a long day out. We met the housekeeping lady a few times and she was friendly and full of smiles as she greeted us good morning on our way out. The room was spacious, clean and new. Air-conditioner was working well. Our stay in n Seoul was especially enjoyable because we can come back to such comfortable environment everyday after a long day out. There is nothing to fault really. I hope to be back here soon.

We booked a flight/hotel package through Expedia which included daily breakfast for 3 (toddler and 2 adults) for 2 weeks. Very nice atmosphere, clean, staff are super friendly and helpful and attended to our needs - especially George who helped us a few times including calling for our cab to the airport and helping us with our bags. Overall a wonderful experience. They have a large beautiful playroom which my daughter enjoyed every day. Just a 5 minute walk to the main train station (elevator can be found at Dongdaemun Design Plaza for anyone with a stroller), and there are bus stops just a couple minutes walk away. They also have a free shuttle bus that runs from Wednesday to Sunday to a handful of tourist areas. Buffet breakfast was amazing - variety of Korean and Western dishes in a beautiful restaurant - looked forward to it every morning. Only thing to keep in mind is they do have a washer/dryer which was a major plus for us but the dryer doesn’t actually dry the clothes 100% no matter how long you have them in for and no more how little amount of clothing you have in the machine. Dried them maybe 60%. So we asked for a dryer rack and just did our laundry/hanging to dry daily after finding out. Apparently this was the case for all machines in the building according to staff and not just ours. Also keep in mind that if you take out the card key from your room it not only turns off the lights but also the fridge and anything else that runs on electricity. Found out about this a week into our stay (we don’t travel/stay at hotels much so I thought it was only for the lights). These were only minor issues for us although would have been nice to be informed of them when we first arrived (maybe it was indicated in their hotel hand outs but I don’t remember seeing it). Otherwise great hotel and we would stay here again next time we are in Seoul! Thank you!

Wonderful Experience for our Family

I recently stayed in a Residence Premiere Bedroom with my family, for four nights in June/July 2024. We had a fantastic experience, from pre-reservation to post-check-out. The entire staff was so attentive and responsive. Reservations answered many of my questions before I booked my stay. The crib for our two-year old was set up prior to our arrival. Concierge arranged for our transportation, delivery of our luggage to a different hotel, and helped us throughout our stay. Our Residence Premiere room was spotless and very well equipped, with a large fridge, laundry/washer, air dresser, stovetop and basic cookware. Perfect for our family with two young kids. Our entire family also enjoyed the indoor pool each morning. The location was also perfect for us. It is in a quieter part of Seoul (compared to where we've stayed before), near the DDP, three metro lines, and also has many conveniences/food options nearby. We have stayed in several high-end hotels in Seoul at this point, and it is safe to say that our next stay will most likely be back at this Novotel. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
