Great place place to stay with family. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is a must add… they have an entire buffet and you can ask to order your own omelette style, eggs,waffles and more. Pool environment was safe with lifeguard, towels and amazing views. Adults can enjoy full bar while kids have fun at pool. Close to most attractions. There are grocery stores , pharmacies , shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is close to Copacabana/Leme beach, 100 feet away. Depending on the table you choose for breakfast you can enjoy a sea view. We had ocean view from our room too. I would definitely recommend it.

Simple, comfortable, and close to everything you would want to do in Rio. One street away from the famous Copacabana and it has a rooftop pool area to finish your days resting after tons of tourism. Great food here and nearby, plus excellent shopping. Above all the breakfast and service is second to none. Family friendly as most other places in Brasil. Highly recommended!

Had some drinks and food on the rooftop, excellent and the staff are 10/10. Would make it my go to place for a beer in Rio, amazing view over the beach and a lovely breeze so not to hot if your heat sensitive. Priced very very reasonable also! Top marks all round .

Amazing place to stay in Rio

I come to Rio once a month for work, and I always stay at the Novotel in Leme. Everything is great here. The location is close to many restaurant options, the beach and other sites in Rio. It's convenient to get an Uber or rent a bike. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great variety for breakfast and awesome gym with amazing view. The service staff is very accommodating and super friendly. I can highly recommend this place. Nothing to complain.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel

I have no idea how this hotel has 5*’s. It is a 3 star at best. The location: great for accessing Copacabana beach Cleanliness: Standard (had to request the bathroom to be swept and mopped on our arrival) Decor: Standard-quite tired which I think impacts how clean it feels Staff: Fine, but I wouldn’t say they were friendly. Especially on check in-he was not very welcoming and didn’t tell us anything about how to access the leisure facilities or the fact that we could have borrowed beach umbrella and loungers. Breakfast: choice was decent but it felt cramped and chaotic. We were left to find our own seats which wasn’t helpful-having someone to manage that might have helped with it feeling more organised. We ordered an omelette on one day and took over half an hour to arrive. Other: these are things I expected from a 4 star hotel that this hotel lacked… No one offered to help with our luggage when we checked in and out. There was no kettle in the room. There was no robe or slippers in the room. There was no complimentary water in the room. The lifts were painfully slow. Overall, I personally wouldn’t stay here again. (Just to note: Someone did call on the last evening to ask if our stay was ok-we didn’t provide any of this feedback at the time because it was too late to do anything about. However, I felt it was important to leave a review because I would’ve liked to know these things before booking this hotel, as all the other reviews are so positive).
