15-night stay at the Novotel RJ Leme. Milla and the rest of the staff in the Breakfast Room were excellent. While pastry-focused, the buffet was always good. In particular the hot food was always a good temperature and dishes were refilled or replaced promptly. Omelettes, bacon and waffles are made on request - the bacon ‘flowers’ were a delight. We probably spend 100+ nights a year in hotels with buffet breakfast and while not the largest, this was one of the best with not one disappointments during our stay. Well done and thank you.

The hotel is located one block from the beach but in a quiet neighbourhood walking distance from Copacabana. The room was bright and airy. The staff is super helpful - they organised an airport pick up at short notice. And of course it was a pleasure to begin the day with a wonderful breakfast hosted by Milla and Samir. It is my favourite hotel in Rio, surely I will be back soon.

Milla is a very generous breakfast buffet manager. She is a very fine lady. She treat us like her family serve us like very important guest. We stayed at the Novotel on the first stage of our holiday in Brazil. The hotel is one block away from Leme Beach, so its well sited for the beach and seeing all the sites. We were surprised to see rough sleepers on the other side of the road though. The bedroom was comfortable, though we had to change rooms as there was a problem with the shower temperature, way too hot! The breakfast buffet was fine and plentiful, and the bar on the top floor gave us great views over the beaches.
