Warm family welcome and perfect stay

We had a fantastic weekend in the Riad and felt very warm welcome as if we are visiting a family house. The facilities are of a very good quality with an authentic environment. Quiete area and perfect location for exploring the old town. All staff has been extremely professional and caring, but we would like to express our special gratitude to Salah who was guiding us throughout the trip and sharing useful tips as well as engaging into the cultural exchange as a great host. Our stay at the Dar Zaouia was fantastic from start to finish. We arrived at night but the staff at Si Said were there to welcome us with mint tea, our mobile phone and choice of pillow fragrances before taking us to our riad a short distance away. Our room was lovely, the breakfasts delicious and served in a beautiful location on the terrace by the fountain. We visited the restaurant at Si Said twice and the food was excellent. We used the spa facilities too which I'd highly recommend. The staff at both riads were so polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely consider returning. Thanks for the chance to experience a truly traditional Marrakesh.

We decided to book our first ever stay in a riad and was not disappointed! The Riad was beautiful and ornate and all the staff at Riad Lydines were exceptional from Abdel, the housekeeping ladies, waiter, chef and night porter - they were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were super clean and the breakfasts were delicious. A special mention to Nadine the Reservations Manager who went above and beyond to ensure every request/ questions we had were dealt with promptly and professionally. She gave us lots of practical advice and useful tips on excursions and getting out and about. Since we were arriving after 9pm and wanted dinner at the restaurant , she suggested we go straight to Si Said for dinner and check into Lydines afterwards - which meant we weren't rushing around- we were all quite hungry by that point too so it was great that we could do that! Also the restaurant staff already knew who we were when we turned up with all our cases - shows what great communication they have between staff & departments! Just little gestures like that made our stay so much more special. Nadine even came over to our Riad one day to say hello in person ( we had been emailing quite a lot for a few weeks before our trip - I like to be very organised and know everything in detail especially for excursions/ facilities etc) which was such a lovely surprise. We had a wonderful and very memorable 5 night stay and can't thank all the staff enough for making it so special for us.

Disappointing Experience at Angsana Marrakech Riad

Telling you that more than 90% of our customers from many nationalities are very satisfied, with their stay and our services, will not change anything. Very average room quality and overpriced

Since we are platinum member of ALL thus we booked this hotel during the stay in Marrakech, however it was quite disappointed. We emailed to the reception for our celebration and there were two separate bookings under same room type for consecutive nights, the office confirmed for our request and well noted , however the reception was totally another story, they said we have to move rooms and ignored our celebration arrangement , there was a staff’s attitude quite rude but others were generally okay, also they put us in the annex building which totally different from the pictures we have seen, the room was very average and basic, the charges were totally overpriced for such quality of room for 300 euro per night, just 3.5 star hotel quality and they mentioned already put us in nicer room which just renovated. The shower was terrible, only a simple shower curtain which was easily flooded, the water would suddenly turned freezing in seconds , it happened at least 5-6 times during 5 mins shower.
