Don't waste your time on this hotel in the winter!

This is our second time staying at this hotel. The first time was in June 2018 and now in January 2026. The best location where the mountains are connected to the sea in Turkey. The hotel has become simply not worth any attention over the years. Half of the restaurants are not working! Rixy Club is not functioning and has been moved to 2 small rooms where they are crowded. The food in the restaurant has no complaints about the quality and taste, but at breakfast people stand in large lines for scrambled eggs and fried eggs. Long lines at the beach at the Starbucks coffee machine where only 1 person works and there is only 1 machine. Room cleaning with minimal effort! During the 5 days of our stay, no one wiped a single mirror in the room. Don't waste your time on this hotel in the winter!

I truly regret to read that your recent winter stay did not meet your expectations, especially in comparison with your visit in 2018. First of all, I sincerely apologize for the disappointment you experienced. While we are pleased that you continue to appreciate our unique location, where the mountains meet the sea, it is clear that several aspects of our winter operation did not reflect the level of comfort and service you expected from us. During the winter season, our hotel operates under a reduced seasonal concept, which unfortunately means that not all restaurants and outdoor outlets are available. That said, we fully understand that the closure of certain venues, combined with queues at breakfast stations and at the Starbucks coffee point, negatively affected your experience. Your remarks regarding staffing and operational flow have been shared with the relevant departments for review. Regarding the Rixy Kids Club, renovation works are currently in progress as part of a comprehensive modernization project. While alternative indoor areas are provided to ensure continuity of children’s activities, I regret that the available space felt crowded and insufficient. We acknowledge that this is not an ideal solution and appreciate your patience during this transition period. I am particularly concerned to read your comments about room cleaning. The fact that mirrors were not cleaned during your stay is unacceptable and does not align with our housekeeping standards. Please accept my sincere apologies for this oversight. Your feedback is extremely valuable, as it highlights areas where our winter concept and service consistency clearly need improvement. While many of these measures are intended to enhance the long-term quality of our resort, we fully recognize that the guest experience during this period must also remain at a high standard. I regret that we were unable to leave you with a positive impression this time and truly appreciate your honesty. Should you consider visiting us again in the future, particularly outside the winter season, we would welcome the opportunity to restore your confidence in Rixos Premium Tekirova. Very nice place with big territory and natural views. Good service, warm and polite, friendly approach, ready to assist guest relation. Tasty food, good bars but mind that winter concept poses some limitations, of course. Many thanks to the whole Kids club team who really worked hard to entertain the children regardless main Rixy club was closed/ demolished for renovation. Especially kudos go to Furkan, Shevval and Kifaye – guys u r amazing! And separate and great Thanks to Cansu Xanim for her constant attention, assistance and availability! Definitely will come again (at least to see renewed RIxy club) 😊

Incredible holiday and fantastic customer service , this hotel had everything but a big plus was the staff , they couldn’t do enough for you, I meant to do this review back in august but forgot but it was really important to give the correct feedback. Shadi and Aykut were on hand to assist all holiday and answered any questions we had, were really friendly and were a credit to the hotel. Honestly it was the best holiday I have ever had. Thank you for an amazing summer. Sorry it took so long life got in the way. Thank you

Minimoon Stay

We visited Rixos Tekirova for our minimoon and overall had a lovely time. The resort itself is beautiful; the grounds are stunning, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the facilities are genuinely impressive. From the pools to the beach area, everything felt well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. However, for a special occasion like a minimoon, we did feel the experience could have gone a little more above and beyond. While the staff were pleasant, there weren’t many personalised touches that made the stay feel extra special. The biggest downside for us was the food. Although there were plenty of dining options, the dishes became quite repetitive, and by the end of our stay we found ourselves ready to head home for a change of taste. Overall, Rixos Tekirova is a beautiful resort with great facilities, but there’s room for improvement, especially in terms of variety in the food and creating a more memorable experience for guests celebrating special occasions.

First will tell you what we liked: the location is great. Tekirova has wonderful mountain views and transparent water. No need to reserve sunbeds - there are enough of them. The territory is huge and nice. Our room was upgraded and we stayed in Family deluxe one while booked a regular deluxe room (that would definitely be pretty tight). The entertainment is lovely - lots of sport activities, including the ones for kids (mine especially liked kids yoga and trampoline class). At checkin we were not given any guidance or even a hotel map, being told that personal assistant will add us to a chat. Had to visit Guest Relations twice the next day to finally have a WA chat and stop feeling lost in a huge resort. Btw we knew the qr codes on the beach umbrellas allow you ro order drinks/snacks from the bar the day we were departing;) Looked like most people have not realized that either and noone ever told you that. Free a la cart restaurants are impossible to be booked - the app opens the reservation at 10.00, and at 10.02 there are no places available. Visited Mermaid and Rosetta restaurants (with surcharge) several times, they were always available and were pretty nice. Meals in main restaurants were variable but mediocre. Very poor choice of fruites. Sometimes there were some tasty meals, but not every day. The basic wine was awful, Rixos hotels should not serve such cheap wine, this is disrespectful to your guests. Room cleaning is below any expectations - looks like they only do the beds and mop the floors not very thorougly (there have always been hair in the bathroom), no cleaning at the balcony at all. Wash basin in the bathroom was never checked. By the end of our stay the water was hardly going away (probably due to stuck hair). Aquapark was impossible to be used by my kid as it's impossible to use the slides or the lazy river not having your head "pooring rained" and this feature is never switched off - my kid hates it, and the weather was not hot to let it be even acceptable. Overal there is a feeling the hotel just needs better management/maintenance and better thinking on details. Some examples: coffee house only serves coffee and sweets. Obviously, when a parent visits it with a kid, the kid would prefer to have ice cream other than just waiting to go for an ice creat to the other side of the resort. And in ice cream house coffee machine and some sweets would be nice not to make you just sit and wait with others eat ice cream you do not want. Lots of minors like this lead to the lack of comfort. The line is Starbucks coffee machine is huge all day long. I managed to see 1-2 people there only at 7.30am before my morning swim. Pavilions are pretty pricey (2500-350 euros per day), need to be booked a week in advance and have poor service - you can wait for half an hour to see the waiter and another half an hour to get your drinks. And they do not give you the bag/hat that is announced to be included in the price ("sorry, we ran out of them"). But the pavillion restaurant was pretty nice. We also had a safety issue in the room - our 3y.o. locked himself in the bathroom and the lock that is supposed to be easily opened from outside did not work - had to urgently call a handiman, who arrived in 7min, opened the door and set up the lock properly. All locks have to work properly as they are supposed to! This is another issue of proper maintenance and having reasonable protocals and processess to be followed.

Room cleanliness not meeting your expectations, including the bathroom, balcony, and wash basin issues. The limitations with the aquapark features for your child and the discomfort caused. Inconveniences in the coffee and ice cream offerings and the pavilions’ service. The safety concern in your room with the bathroom lock, which required urgent attention. Your observations highlight areas where we must focus more on attention to detail, maintenance, and operational efficiency. Please rest assured that your comments have been shared with the relevant departments, including management, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance teams, to ensure improvements are made. We truly regret that these issues impacted your overall experience, and we thank you for pointing them out so we can address them properly.
