Day one, arrived after a tedious over-night flight, a little weary. Arrived at the hotel and WOW! What incredible service. From the very second you arrive, this team are impeccable. So incredibly helpful, every single one of them. I’d like to make a special mention to Ali, this gent helped us to our room with our bags and he has a manner and smile that is so infectious and sincere. What a great experience!

Perfect hotel for families with kids and babies

We’ve had a lovely stay here. We’ve stayed with our 7 month old and it’s a perfect hotel for babies/families. There is a baby food station in the buffet and the staff even wash and sterilise your baby bottles for you. This really made a positive difference to our holiday and is greatly appreciated. The kids club looked great for older children although we didn’t use it. All the staff here are amazing- everyone is happy and helpful. The service levels from staff are really something the hotel should be proud of. Our favourite two people were Mecaella in the patisserie and Jithu who served on the ice cream stand and at Breeze bar - they were both so lovely and deserve recognition - we made a note of their names specially but so many people were great. Service in Bar1 is always perfect too. The food variety is excellent. We preferred the buffets to the al la carte. There is always something good to eat. The hotel is very clean everywhere, as you’d expect.

Wonderful Holiday at a Wonderful Hotel

From the moment we arrived until we left six days later, every member of staff was welcoming, smiley, and genuinely friendly. Two team members in particular stood out for their exceptional customer service and dedication to both their roles and the Rixos brand. Mangal, who covers the beach area, is one of the kindest and most understated people I have ever met. Widitatama from the Bodrum Bar was always smiling and eager to ensure guests were well looked after with drinks. Both played a huge part in making our holiday so special. The hotel itself is stunning and immaculately maintained — even to the point of staff cleaning bird droppings from the pathways, which really shows the attention to detail. We booked a three-bedroom suite as we were a group of three adult couples. Each bedroom was en-suite, which worked perfectly for us. On arrival, we were upgraded to a four-bedroom suite with a jacuzzi and a large living area, which was a lovely surprise. The city-facing view was great, and we enjoyed watching the boats coming and going. The only issue we encountered was with the king-size bed, which had a wooden slatted base. After a couple of uncomfortable nights, we discovered several slats were missing. This was reported and swiftly addressed, although unfortunately the slats didn’t stay in place. As we had a spare room with single beds, my husband and I chose to sleep there and didn’t report it again. The restaurants are all very nice and serve great food, with a good variety and excellent à la carte options included in the all-inclusive package. There are just a few points I feel management could consider to further enhance the experience: An adults-only pool and restaurant would be a great addition — Turquoise restaurant and the nearby pool would be ideal. Bar1 is a nice sports bar, but it would be beneficial if it became adults-only after a certain time in the evening. Most importantly, smoking should not be allowed at Bar1. It was very unpleasant, especially with children and pregnant women present. Overall, my family and I had the most wonderful time together in a fantastic hotel, and we will absolutely be returning to Rixos The Palm.
