Rixos Premium Dubrovnik 5 estrelas

Just stayed here for 4 night, the whole experience was flawless. The staff were amazing, the views were amazing, the food was amazing!!! Overall a high quality luxury hotel. Excellent location also. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Dubrovnik, looking forward to staying at another Rixos now.

Stayed for 4 nights at end of May, hotel has a wonderful poolside terrace on the cliffs. Fantastic service from the bar and restaurant staff, I love open water swimming and the bay from the hotel is the perfect place to swim. There is a spot where you can dive off the cliffs into the sea too. Food at the hotel is superb, great breakfast and we had a nice evening meal at the hotel as well. Rooms are of a good size, quite and are well appointed. The only downside is the price of drinks, so although there is no better place to spend a day relaxing looking out to sea, the bill might surprise you at the end of your stay. Would definitely return though, both myself and my wife had a brilliant time.

A beautiful hotel with some amazing staff. The hotel location is great, around 15 minutes walk to old town and same to get to Lapad beach, both are down hill each way but quite a long walk back up especially in the heat!! There is a pavement but please bear in mind that it's narrow and there are lots of buses going by quite fast. We used the hotel transport to pick us up and take us back to airport, it's a little costly but the drivers were great, friendly and helpful with lots of information. The hotel itself is stunning, set on the side of the cliff so no matter where you are you get a view of the sea. There are some cheaper rooms with a view of garden etc but I would recommend paying a little extra for sea view, it's stunning and nothing better than relaxing with a book looking out. The rooms are basic, I'll be honest nothing really wow about it other than the view but beds are comfortable and they bought us more pillows when we asked. The bathroom is open, we were two friends travelling but have a system in place for that but not sure why you wouldn't put a proper door on a toilet!! It's glass but doesn't really close!! The best part was the shower gel, shampoo etc all designer with a beautiful smell. Never had that before and no wondering they don't fill any bottles as sure people would be constantly stealing them!! Pool is small but nice but it's at the back, everything here revolves around the sea view. There were plenty of pool beds, very comfortable and you get a separate cushion too. Staff are very attentive to move beds, umbrellas etc and bringing you drinks. I went to the bar to get a drink and was told off and I should sit down 🤣. We had breakfast everyday, it's just beautiful the bread, pastries everything is fresh and plenty of it. Juices are pago which is amazing for such a large place. We didsbury do the buffet dinner once but ate out most of the time, we had food around the pool a couple of days again it was all very fresh and nice. The staff don't really smile that much but think that's just standard, they are very friendly and helpful and will do whatever you need so doesn't really bother me at all. Having to cope with something of the rude customers I'd struggle to smile all day too!!! Only negative is that this isn't a cheap place, I don't think that's surprising but it's 40e for 4 large beers, this was the same in a lot of places. The evening buffet was 60e. As long as you are prepared it's worth it for a special occasion. I thought dubrovnik was amazing, it's a beautiful historical place and it's clear to see that the people who lived there were very proud of the place. We fit in as much as we could but still ensured we had time to relax. The place has it all.

Cracking hotel in a great location within 15/20 minute walk of the old town. All amenities within hotel. Food of good quality and replenished quickly. Immaculate in all areas. Entertainment was relaxing in the morning or evening. Pool area had plenty of beds. Hotel main asset in my opinion was the colleagues who were always polite and on point. My only gripe would be the mark up on alcohol prices. I would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful hotel. Stunning views out to sea. Check in was quick, our room wasn’t ready on arrival (1pm) but at 3pm when our room was ready we were given a complementary upgrade to an apartment. It was massive with a seperate living room area and a wrap around corner balcony - fab! Ate lunch in the pool bar, the Caesar salad is 10/10. The service from all the staff was excellent. Breakfast - huge choice. There’s a beautiful beach a short walk from the hotel crystal clear water. This is our second visit to Dubrovnik, last year we stayed at Hotel Dubrovnik Palace which we also loved. But I think the Rixos has the edge in terms of pure luxury.
