Excellent visit Room wasn't the biggest but it was hardly tiny. What do you do in a hotel in London? We just needed somewhere clean to sleep well, relax and shower and have breakfast. This hotel provides all this with friendly, helpful staff. Tube station is almost across the road, bus stop literally outside front door. Continental breakfast was delicious on all 3 mornings, staff friendly and welcoming, kept tables clean at all times, constantly replacing food/drinks/cutlery etc. Bar area pleasant. Hotel has quirky feel. Had slight confusion over breakfast price which manager soon sorted in very professional manner. Slept well, no noise from other guests, very little noise from outside considering we were in busy street in Kensington. Maybe worth looking into a hand rail for steep steps at front of hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will return

Stayed here a couple of times before. Very convenient location. Great staff. Lots to do in the area and easy to get into central London due to the tube station opposite. Easy walk to Royal Albert Hall for the Proms. Downside this visit was that a lift was not working whilst we were there. Yes the rooms are small/tiny and yes it's expensive.

The greeting was friendly, the check-in efficient, the room clean and well equipped but……my goodness was it tiny. And very expensive. London is rapidly becoming a no-go area. Everything from theatre tickets to cafés to Tube tickets is very, very expensive. The hotel staff are great and it is very conveniently located opposite a Tube station and with a bus stop right outside but for us the price for such a tiny room was way too high. Sorry but we will not return.

The whole Kensington hotel area is overpriced (for the convenient location), for the cramped room we get from ibis. Worse, our room on the third floor smelled like cigarette near door to our room in certain mornings (4AM) and night. We complained, but the smell persisted. There are no benefits for joining ibis membership/ loyalty program.

Stayed here for three nights over Christmas 2023. Located right next to Gloucester Road Tube Station, it provides easy access into the heart of London. The hotel itself is nice enough. We stayed in one of the hotel's largest rooms which is underground themed. The bathroom is small however is fine for what you need during a short stay.
