"Ibis Sukhumvit 24 is a great value for its price! The hotel is located in a quiet alley off Sukhumvit Road, close to BTS Phrom Phong station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with all the essentials. Would suggest to front desk staff to be more service oriented and not talking to each other or playing handphone when guests is trying to seek help.

I was there and Ms Anny Check me in good service.​ Room was clean but the wall was slightly sometimes can hear room neighbors.​ Breakfast was very good, both Thai and American food. There is variety, good taste, convenient travel. Accommodation prices are reasonable. The room size is suitable for the price. Recommend it for people who come to do business or travel in the Sukhumvit area.​ Shopping mall near by can walk around bug 3 shopping mall near bts.

The hotel is very near the BTS station and has its own 7-11. The room is clean and has a nice view. The breakfast buffet has good choices and very delicious for its price. I dont know why other reviews says its not good. It is complete and value for money. If you want more choices, you check in a more expensive 5-star hotel. The staff are very friendly and assist you of any questions/ need assistance. They can understand and speak english. Special thanks to the receptionist Fern who assisted us during our check in process. She was able to arrange for us a room even if we arrived before 2pm check in time so we can rest.

Hotel conveniently located, with lots of eateries within a few minutes walk. A train station is also nearby to avoid the heavy traffic. There is even a 7 eleven store operating 24/7, to cater for some late night snacks among other things. Some massage centres for family are also nearby. Avoid the massages located in the small lanes, off the main road, as they offer services way way beyond a massage centre.

Convenient location and value-for-money but thin walls

I am trying out the Ibis after having previously stayed at the Mecure in this same building and I must say that the Ibis is definitely a solid choice over the Mecure. Location-wise, its super accessible with Emporium just across the street, and a 7-11 downstairs in the same building. The BTS station is joined to Emporium so if you want to stay in this part of town, at a low price, the Ibis is unbeatable. Especially more true if you are a solo traveller or want a single room to yourself. The rooms here are small, and I cannot imagine how 2 person can move with ease with their bags/luggage. The walls between rooms are also thin and i can heard my next door’s guests talking quite clearly, so if you have noisy neighbours, then you may need ear plugs. The bed is super comfortable (and beats the Doubletree’s where I stayed prior to moving here) and plush but the pillows are standard hotel quality, though I was surprised at the better quality ones here compared to other Ibis. As it’s a new hotel, the huge TV can be connected to your phone to stream content and you can watch YouTube, Netflix with ease. Bathroom is small and lack space for your toiletries bag if you have one, and you have to rely on the sink area to put your stuffs. Being a basic hotel brand, there are also no toothbrush or cotton pads given. The shower has good pressure but water temperature is either too hot or cold and its tough to get it in the middle. The water also tends to collect and not flow out but I am unsure if its a piping problem or not - it does eventually flow out but takes time. Overall, its clean, comfy and a very good price for central location and if no-frills basic accommodation is what you seek, this is perfect.
