Beware of Incorrect Charging to Your Credit Card

3/12/24- Tuesday- I checked into the Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 24. 9/12/24- Monday – On checking my Credit Card online at approximately 7.00am I discovered the Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 had charged my credit card an amount of $1,706.80 Australian Dollars plus the International Transaction Fee of $59.74 Australia Dollars. 9/12/24- Monday- I went to the reception at approximately 8.00am and queried what the amount was for. The staff at reception told me that the Hotel had not charged anything to my credit card. I then went back to my room and rang my credit card provider in Australia. My credit card provider told me that my card had been charged by Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 24. 9/12/24- Monday- I went back down to reception and met yourself. You informed me the Mercure had incorrectly booked the amount to my credit card. You advised there was a credit being put to my credit card for the incorrect charge. 19/12/24- Thursday- I still have not received the credit back to my credit card for the incorrect charge and International transaction fee.

Very comfortable and convenient place ! Near to BTS, just a few mins walk ! Also a few shopping malls nearby, Emphere, emporium and Emquatier ! New and clean hotel! Will definitely come back for my next visit ! High recommended ! Thank you for the effort of the birthday surprise decorations and birthday cake ! :)

It is a nice hotel, we arrived early due to our tour arrange and Ms.Skyfah help us to check in early, it’s a big help for us , thanks, if our friends visit Thai next time, we will recommend them to check-in this hotel, this is a nice travel hhhhhhhh

I always come to the Mercure hotel when I'm visiting Bangkok. Everything is so good: the staff amazing, the location, the atmosphere, the room very beautiful 😍 and very quiet and very clean, lovely swimming pool, and the breakfast is so delicious 🌷🙏🌷🩵
