Comfortable stay in a central location

We had a comfortable stay here at Mercure Sukhumvit 24 which was ideally located within the Phrom Phong area. The hotel is located within a complex of 2 hotels. The lower floors being occupied by an Ibis whilst the higher floors and added amenities of Pool and Gym occupied by the Mercure. Room size is comfortable at 26m2 and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The hotels upkeep is good and ageing of the hotel is not too visible. Carpark is safe and secure as well and I didn't face any issues of the car park being full. Traffic is heavy, but expected since you are in the heart of Bangkok. Breakfast at the hotel was also delicious and above expectations of a Mercure property. My Platinum status was recognised and room upgrade given. Overall, a comfortable stay here. An executive lounge would be lovely and something I hope they can consider when they renovate the hotel in the future.

Great location. Near transport zones, shopping malls, green areas, restaurants galore! Very comfortable rooms, Rita, the housekeeper looks after the bedrooms beautifully. Breakfasts in all bars/restaurants very good. Rooftop bar and pool is gorgeous. All the staff are helpful, smiley and kind. Oh, added bonus having a Seven Eleven on ground floor!

I had a very pleasant stay at Mercure and would definitely rate it 5 stars for service and overall experience. The room was beautifully prepared with a swan-style heart bed decoration, which was a lovely surprise and made the stay feel special. Special thanks to Tang, who arranged it so thoughtfully. The reception team was extremely welcoming and professional. They even tried to upgrade my room, but clearly explained that my current room was already specially decorated. I appreciated the honesty and chose to keep the original room. Having a 7-Eleven right below the hotel is a big convenience and a real plus, especially for quick snacks and essentials. During breakfast, a staff member personally came to inform me that all chicken items were halal, which I genuinely appreciated. While the halal variety was limited and the chicken was placed next to pork items, the gesture itself was very thoughtful. I hope in the future halal chicken can be placed separately to make guests more comfortable. Breakfast staff were excellent overall, especially the omelette station staff, who were friendly and attentive. Overall, the staff made the stay warm and memorable. With a small improvement in halal food arrangement, the experience would be even better. Highly recommended for comfort, service, and hospitality.
