We had an excellent stay at 25hours Hotel Düsseldorf. The hotel feels brand new, with the signature unique and creative atmosphere that 25hours is known for. It’s full of life at all hours of the day - vibrant, fun, and welcoming. Great for families as well, not just couples or business travelers. The location is excellent, only a 10–15 minute walk to the city center and main attractions, yet in a cool and pleasant area. Truly unique in the best possible way, stylish and special without compromising on a high standard of comfort and quality. A special thank you to Amelie at the reception for her kindness and great service. Highly recommended.

“A good, trendy hotel with that little extra. The breakfast was excellent with table service, featuring lots of high-quality local products. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The hotel has a hip, creative look and feel that really stands out. The only downside is that parking could be priced a bit more attractively.”

As an Accor Diamond member and a frequent guest of this property, I am sharing this experience to highlight a serious breakdown in professional accountability and billing integrity. On my checkout day, I vacated my room at 14:00 (following a brief agreement with the housekeeping staff), and organized my belongings in the hallway before heading down to the lobby. I officially checked out at the front desk at 14:20, where the staff explicitly confirmed a zero balance. I remained in the hotel lobby afterward to rest. While I typically receive my invoice within 30 minutes, this time it arrived over two hours late with an unexpected €80 "late departure fee." The hotel cited a checkout time of 15:32—a time when I was merely sitting in the lobby, having already vacated my room and settled my bill over an hour prior. More details: 1. The hotel used my card on file to process this €80 fee. This exceeded the original €75 pre-authorization limit and was done without any new consent or notification after a confirmed zero-balance checkout. 2. When I queried the charge, a Dual Student who handled the case initially cited CCTV to claim a 15:32 departure. When I challenged this, the story was immediately changed to a vague "past 14:30." Despite acknowledging these contradictory timestamps, the hotel declined a refund, stating the matter was "settled." 3. Most concerningly, following my formal inquiry regarding this billing error, the hotel unilaterally canceled all my future reservations. To a guest, this sequence of events appears to indicate an exclusionary response to those who exercise their right to clarify administrative discrepancies. 4. Throughout this dispute involving financial and data discrepancies, no senior manager ever intervened. Leaving a complex matter entirely to a Dual Student led to a complete lack of professional resolution. For those who value loyalty recognition, it is important to note that this property appears to categorize guaranteed tier benefits as discretionary gestures. This perspective is fundamentally inconsistent with the loyalty experience promised by the Accor brand. If you expect a standard of professional accountability and respect for your membership status, the adversarial approach encountered here may be deeply disappointing.

Trying a bit too hard to be cool

This is a love it or hate it hotel, which tries hard to be trendy and gimmicky. The weirdest thing for me was that our room on the 14th floor had a bicycle in it taking up a lot of space, but no wardrobe for clothes. Also a shower visible from all over the room, so strictly for couples only. See photos. The breakfast at €29 was rather expensive for a standard hotel breakfast (I've had better breakfasts in cheaper hotels). We went up to try the 17th floor bar, but it was pricey packed and noisy, so we went back down. I never saw the coffee bar in the lobby actually open. But nice views and cool decor

Our open-concept rooms deliberately do not include traditional wardrobes, but there are plenty of storage options for clothing and personal items. The open shower is part of this unique design and may be experienced differently depending on personal taste. Regarding the café on the ground floor: it is currently on a winter break. Guests can still order coffee in the restaurant, and the reopening will be announced in advance. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the view and the design. Amazing experience from start to finish. Clean rooms and comfortable beds and get bathroom amenities. The staff was perhaps the best part of the whole stay but also enjoyed staying on this side of town which was convenient to trains and all the great local restaurants. Will be there again for my next stay!
