Was more than happy to rebook after our first stay , especially when you can get great deals - perfect location for DFO south wharf and the Melbourne Convention centre

Being Platinum Accor members , one of the perks is a free upgrade. In all our travels and stays we never get upgraded. It’s a useless perk cause the excuse is always that there isn’t any availability.

While we strive to provide upgrades whenever possible, it is sometimes challenging due to high demand and occupancy rates. First time to stay at this big complex its a beautiful modern hotel. As a Platinum Accor member enjoyed the benefit of an upgrade to a superior room virtually a suite. Views and facilities were top class. Appreciated the service of the concierge Narendra and all staff at check in and restaurant. Very good food for breakfast buffet which can get busy but it is well managed. Great bathroom and walk in shower. Comfortable and easy to control heating/cooling. Access driving in can be a bit awkward.

Perfect for the solo traveller

Novotel South Wharf is the hotel if you are attending events at the convention centre - you don't even have to go outside to walk between locations! This was perfect for me as a solo traveller attending evening events and not having to worry about public transport and safety later at night. The kingbed was super comfortable with a choice of pillows and the room had everything I needed (except hot chocolate sachets so byo). I was able to purchase happy hour wines at the bar downstairs and bring them back to my room which was an extra plus for snuggling in. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend this Novotel

However, we regret to hear that you missed having hot chocolate sachets in your room.
