Paris is a very beautiful city but what made our stay special was the hotel. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and efficient. The breakfast room staff very friendly. The rooms are clean and bright, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom spacious. The location is ideal, Close to the metro and walking distance to the Opera. The area is also safe at night. Definitely worth a return visit.

This is the place you want to stay at for spending time in Paris. It's clean, safe, convenient for mainline station stations and local Rome Europe and l metro's, The staff were all very helpful and polite, the breakfast offers a great range if you have 'food issues' such as wheat intolerance and there's a baggage lock up if you don't want to lug your cases about on your last day. Throughly recommend.

I booked two rooms that were located on the 5th floor at the far back of the building, Very quiet. Both rooms were small (that's ok with us). Ours had a lovely balcony, giving it a Parisian vibe, the other faced an inner courtyard. Rooms were clean. My only complaint was the ridiculous shower in our room. It was the tiniest ever, impossible to negotiate. They should address that. Other than that, the stay was OK. Breakfast was great. Staff ranged from indifferent to dismissive when I tried to speak my poor French (I was trying at least) to great and helpful. The nicest staff was, by far, the ones attending breakfast. Especially a young guy with glasses. The neighborhood itself is nice, close to Gare St-Lazare. It was completely dead, though, as most of the businesses and restaurants were closed for vacation., Looked like a provincial town more than a word-class city. Apart from that an easy 10 minute walk can take you to interesting places. Also, there is a convenient supermarket nearby. Overall, good stay but the lack of an adequate shower would be a deal killer next time, unless price is rock bottom. Which was not the case this time.

I booked this hotel as part of a Eurostar package to see the Tour de France. The hotel is very good for a city break in Paris because it is in a central location. I got a taxi from Gare du Nord to the hotel for 10 euros. Europe or Rome metro stations are 5 mins walk away where you can get the metro to Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Catacombs etc. The room is basic but is comfortable and quiet. There is a safe and TV in the room with a small en-suite bathroom. The hotel has a lift which makes it easier to navigate. The breakfast was excellent, there was lots of choice with cereal, croissants, crepes with honey/nutella, pain au chocolat and a coffee machine/fresh orange juice. There is a supermarket on the next road along for any food/drink you may need. The reception spoke English and were helpful. There is a luggage store to keep your suitcase after you check out which is handy.

overall satisfactory stay i had to request to change for a larger room and it was met overall good location & friendly staff breakfast could do with say an omelette otherwise satisfactory price not cheap not super pricey
